UpdatedI take 5mg Cialis for BPH and erectile dysfunction, and it is working well. My Health care is going make me change to generic Tadalafil. Will it work as well?

One thing to note is that the FDA states "Any generic medicine modeled after a brand-name medicine must perform the same in the body as the brand-name medicine. This standard applies to all generic medicines. A generic medicine is the same as a brand-name medicine in dosage, safety, effectiveness, strength, stability, and quality, as well as in the way it is taken and the way it should be used. Generic medicines use the same active ingredients as brand-name medicines and work the same way, so they have the same risks and benefits as the brand-name medicines."
Definitely Yes, Generic Cialis (tadalafil) Work The Same As The Brand, because Cialis and other brands pill same active ingredient it is "Tadalafil". It affects is different when you give various strength.

"Should" is the key word. Generics "Should" work as well as name brand but they often do not. FDA only checks for bioequivalence to pass the drug which is based on blood concentration of the active ingredient over time. Once they pass, it is left up to the manufacture to self regulate. And many drug companies have been found in the past to fudge the numbers when batches don't pass quality control.
Much of our meds are made by Indian companies and the Indian pharma has a pretty bad rep for a reason.
Also, the inactive ingredients can make a big difference. Some inactive ingredients themselves have mild pharmacological properties. Some fillers help with absorption or slowing the elimination of the drug. etc. I can say for certain with my generic Adderall experience that 50 mg of Teva\Sandoz\ or Corepharma works better and longer than 120mg of Aurolife (Aurobindo) generic. That is unbiased because I did not know I was switched to Aurolife and thought I was still taking Corepharma. Couldn't figure out why they stopped working at first.
I was taking 10 mg tadalafil but switched to 20mg because the 10s weren't working as well anymore. The 20s did not work as well as the 10s. I don't recall which company made the 10s. But NorthStar (manufactured by Sun pharma) are terrible.
I was calling around today to see what pharmacy might have a decent 20mg brand.
Rite Aid - Camber (owned by Indian company Hetero)
Acme - NorhtStar (manufactured by Sun Indian company)
Walmart - Torrent an Indian company
Stop & Shop - Accord (owned by Intas Indian company)
Can't say if any of those are any good or not. Except for NorthStar/Sun which sucks, the others could possibly be ok. Hard to find a generic I trust to compare to directly though.
Re: HCStymie (# 3)
Addendum to my previous post. I had also tried the Accord (Made in India by Intas) and the were horrible. I did find what 10 mg I had that worked well. It was the authorized generic made by Prasco. An Authorized Generic is the EXACT same as the prescription one. Where as regular generics are their companies own created versions of a drug.
