Does Food Lessen The Strength Of Rx Medications?
UpdatedTrying to avoid taking 2 meds a little too close together.
Does it help to snack when taking prescription medicine (such as Lorazepam or Hydrocodone 10 mg)?

Food won't lessen the efficacy of Lorazepam, or Hydrocodone, but it can lessen the severity of the side effects they cause, such as nausea, and dizziness.
The FDA also warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause other side effects, such as headache, irritability, constipation, and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
