Does Dicyclomine Help With Chronic Constipation?

I have been suffering with chronic constipation with Colon pain and major bleeding, I understand what hymroids are.. But my pain is so intense I am unable to walk, I have gone to multiple doctors seeking help. I am always told the same thing. "you have hymroids" I get a script for suppositories, (they don't work!!!) With that being said I have ended up in the ER.. The pain is crippling,.. I tell the ER doc my problem, he writes me a script and says I need to see a GI doctor. So I get my script and I read that this helps if you have over active bowl issues... I wish... Why would I be prescribed this medication if I suffer from constipation?
