Does Amoxclav Contain Cephalexin

Does the medication amox-clav contain cephalexin? I am allergic to cephalexin, Can I take the amox-clav?

No, it contains Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, it is the generic for Augmentin. This is an antibiotic used to treat many different types of infections.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
