Does Amox Clav 875 Mg Treat A Severely Busted Lip?

I took a nasty fall and busted my lip really bad. There's a little pus and after 2 days, the swelling hasn't gone down. Will this antibiotic be of any help to me, prevent infection or speed up the healing process?
