I have a hair test coming up in a month and I have a prescription for Valium, but my wife has a prescription for Xanax and I take her Xanax at least a few time a week. Will the Xanax show up the same as Valium on the Hair Test?

I have a hair test coming up and i am prescribed valium, but my girlfriend gets xanax and i take some of hers because they seem to help me out better. Do they show up as the same on the hair test?

Unfortunately they show up different. Xanax shows benzos/diazepam & valium show lordizapam. Sry. But I if I was u & had the money I would suggest to buy a home test first. I think u will need to the while test, full panel....good luck

Bri and johnyboy if it is a normal panel test yes they all show as benzos. Now if a test is ordered to find out spcfcly what kind of benzo then they can and yes they then and then only can find out.

Every thing I'm reading online says a regular Panel doesn't test for benzos. So I'm not understanding why everyone is saying it will show up. I'm concerned because I took a few xanax about 60 days ago, o have a hair folicle test in 3 weeks my hair does grow fast and I dye it regularly will that help or should I not worry since they don't test for that anyways

Poor people, I read there questions of worry they shouldnt have for one thing.
People real reason I believe for drug test given now at pain clinics.Passed our law approval years back.Reason for as everything is that dont make sense or our damn money grabbers of us the poor now
Check price of drug test ins.Is paying for.Doctors own test labs also. Oh price tag of test $600.00 damn dollars. Same as a holdup but as many legal rip off.
Ok the way it is. You get test they say to keep ones from selling their meds. Keep a few before going??? Thats taken care of. They also can call you anytime have you come in with all meds and do a pill count on you.
This is real doctors trust. If you tell a pain doc as I told mine. All true. I said I am running out of one of my meds each month about 8 days short.
He gave me some extra. Good of him. But as I told him I hated to ask. With all the bad vibes leaves him.
He said dont come back again asking for more pills. Yeah like im a dumb ass junkie. Then before leaving they give me another appointment. Doc said my drug tests aren't consistent. Believe I told him about running out of one med constantly?
So more money for copay. I do pick ups. Eight pickups a year. No charge. Dr visit though is 45.00.
Of course my dr. Says my fault with urine test. What do we do about anything?
Not a damn thing so pitifull.
They should beware of us old sit home broke ass ones. We have nothing to lose. I'm 61 tired of all the no care people in this political disgrace humans.
We need our rights restored to live again. Have money to be happy .Have dignity. Tired of being accused.

I have a friend who needs to take a similar test for the same reason. Could you message me back? {edited for privacy}. She has a prescription for Xanax, Percocets and for Adderall, but she needs to know if Valium, Vicodin, Morphine and Vyvanse would show up differently on one of those tests?

I have a prescription for valium 10mg 1 tablet. I have to take it 1 hour before a procedure. I also have klonopin 1mg 3 tablets but no prescription. If I take both would that be enough to push me over the cut off level for a hair test? I think once you go over the cut off level that's when they test to see which benzodiazepines you are taking. Of course I am not worried about the valium.
