For the Omega hair test extended opiates panel, does it say specifically what kind of opiate shows up or does it just test positive in general for opiates?

The extended opiate test will test for Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone and Oxycodone. But if you combine it with the Hair 5 drug panel it will test for codeine, morphine and heroin.

Not always true. I have a test today. I ran out again because my pain is getting worse and I started a job which involves lifting, I am lifting and doing more than I should but I don't want to loose my house or car, so I do it. In oretoo keep up and get hired in I had to take more than usual. now I'm out. I have only been here 6 months and don't know anyone to sell too or would I. and if I did then I would know where to get what I need too pass, so, not always the case.

I want to know if tramadol 50mg (2) 4-day and/or oxycodone 10mg 4-day could show up on a mouth swab test as positive for codeine if sent off to a lab .. Mine did and I'm not sure why .. I also take enbrel injections , ibuprofen , and I've had NyQuil over the counter a few days before ... Thanks ..

It will show up. ONLY if they test for it specifically. If this test is done for employment purposes, they most likely won't be looking for it. If this was for law enforcement or rehab purposes, than they are more likely to look in its direction. As of January 2014 it is now considered a class c narcotic.

No it will not test positive for OXY, There is a specific test for Tramadol but usually only done by pain mgmt docs. I have never seen this requested in a normal panel, nor have I ever seen ANYBODY test (+) for oxy when only taking Tramadol. I do this for a living.

But took one of my morphine pills yesterday and today. The pain was unbeable.
It was givin to me by my last pain doctor .
I go to a new doctor.

Yes your morphine will show up on your drug test but if you have a prescription just show it to whoever it is doing the testing. Morphine stays in your system for 96 hours and is tested for on all drug panels

God I know , I just did hair and urine test. Passed urine on spot but was taking tramadol 50 mg tab often in previous week's. Need this job. Will it show up as opiate ? And I doubt employer will accept this excuse. Probably say addicts choice. Lortab, or other common stereo type pain killer. Need real answer also. Does it show in hair follicle test as opiate ?

Most likely tramadol won't show up on a hair drug test, even as an extended opiate test. The lab I deal with does not test for tramadol in hair. The Lortab would show up on an extended opiate test.

An opiate can be detected up to approximately 48 hours after using. So if it will be 4 days it should not be detectable in a saliva drug test.
