Does Tramadol Show Up In A Urine Test (Page 3)

I TOOK 2 50 MG TRAMADOL THIS MORNING AND HAVE TO DO A URINE TEST FOR MY DR FRIDAY WHICH GETS SENT TO A LAB TO TEST FOR TRAMADOL. WILL IT BE OUT OF MY SYSTEM BY THEN?

Yes I do a 12 panel for probation but she didn't show up thankfully,I heard it shows up as opiates!your best bet is try to flush your system water ,pickle juice,cranberry and vitamin b12

Your information is incorrect. 1 I go to a pain management clinic and 2 am a lab technician. In the past I have detailed what was on the panel of test they are running and no tramadol is not on it. Tramadol has just recently has its schedule changed making it a controlled substance. It is a opioid agonist and works on your brain receptors in a way that opioid does. But the chemical make up is not the same as an opioid. There is specific test done that has just recently been developed that can indeed pick up tramadol , but is rarely used even in my pm it's not used on a standard basis.

Haven't gone yet, my probation starts 10/30 and I was just trying to be AS prepared as possible in case I needed to NOT take them. I did however finally manage to get a valid subscription so I'm feeling much better about everything JUST IN CASE for some reason (I have terrible luck) that it does show up. You helped me a lot though so thank you for your input! :)
I'll definitely keep you posted!

Hello,

I have an appointment on Tuesday 10 AM for a suboxone clinic urine test (12 panel). From Monday-Saturday I have been taking (will be taking) on average 10-50 mg (500 mg) Tramadol tablets through out the day. I have ran out of suboxone and unfortunately have to resort to this to not feel the withdrawals. From Sunday to Tuesday I have 1 strip left to get me to my next script. I have done the math in terms of half-life (6 hours) and it says I will have .69 mg in my system by 10 AM. Now, I know this math isn't perfect and there are many things that can affect the final amount. I will be drinking a lot of water and from Sunday on, I will not be taking any Tramadol so that is 48+ hours of water and no pills. In your expertise, will it show on the test being that low? Will it show at all? Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

To make sure I'm understanding your question correctly are you asking will the suboxin show at those levels? I want to make sure I answer as precisely as possible. I know this is a serious appointment. My pain management is pretty serious about leveling out correctly.

Will the tramadol show up? Weird thing is that I took my 8 pm dosage (250 mg) and then woke up the next morning and took a drug test from CVS, same kind they use at the clinic, and it didn't show as an opiate. They dont send it to a lab.

My dr. At my pm. Specifically told me they don't test for tramadol . It doesn't come back as an opioid it has a different chemical make up. It does work on the pain receptors like opioids do. I'm still a bit confused because morphine is synthic like tramadol but it comes up as an opioid..... id like to say youd be fine. But is suppose each day they do develop new test , but I've yet to hear any test being developed for tramadol. I know I'm not a big help right now. But if I had to gamble on it I personally would put all my money on you will pass with flying colors. Please keep me updated. And praying for a good out come. I know this is important!!!

Thanks! I'll let you know. I hate not having suboxone the last few days. So last night I took 500 mgs around 9 pm, then 250 mg at 10 am. Took a test at CVS for opiates and it came back negative.

I know the feeling I once ran out of my morphine and oxy and I take a lot. It wasn't because I over room it I had a nasty stomach bug and kept throwing it up so I ran short. Any how it was so awful. I mean tramadol helps, but it doesn't keep the pain away like my regular meds and I have to take so much more. Sigh but hey at least it helps some. Again best of luck and fingers crossed ????

I have an rx for tramadol in the U.S. and i also take tramadol from Mexico. I am on random urinalysis' through the state. Will the Mexican tramadol show up as the same thing as the tramadol from the U.S?

I passed! I thought it would show up as PCP but they didn't say anything so I'm assuming it was a negative results or inconclusive. Honestly I didn't drink a lot of water and I had a few pills the night before and the morning of.

So thank God everything worked out. However the nurse at the clinic sent my scripts to the wrong Pharmacy and when the pharmacy called the doctor to confirm the dosage the doctor had left and the only come to the clinic once a week. So for 24 hours I was screwed. I then drove after withdrawing for 24 hours an hour and a half to the clinic but no doctor or nurse was there. I found a random secretary who got in touch with the only nurse practitioner who was working in a different clinic at a time and he came up to rectify the situation. So that was one hell of a morning and night.

I have never had them show up on just a stick test or over counter test. I have to take my test for probation so I would say he is probably lying to u and doing more than he said. I would order a lab test and if u want to keep it private u could order online and take him to labcorp or something like that where no one knows u and have them lab test it.
