I have to take a drug test will subutex show up it is for DSS and want me to do an evaluation so I'll probably do it urine test please tell me it won't show up

No ur a dumbass it does show up as an opiate. . I've been on subutex for over 10 years so trust and believe I know... you did some kindof opiate to test positive. . I take drug test every month for past ten years

Be honest and tell them you have been taking 2 a day, that way you're sure to have enough.

That's bs subutex hasn't been out that long. I was put on suboxone the month it started in Florida and started subutex the month it came out

I find many suboxone doctors to be different than other doctors. They know that most of us have been naughty and bought more than suboxone from the streets. In my experience a suboxone doctor tests you for drugs anyway and I don't think it will hurt you to be honest and say you've already been taking it. The doctor isn't a police officer. It might even help- he/she might benefit from knowing that you have experience with it, they should know what dosage you're currently on, and hopefully skip the introduction process but no promises. My experiences with sub doctors have probably been the best appointments I've had (besides the reason, obviously) because they have a great bedside manner and work with addicts on a constant basis so they treat you more like a person. No subutex doesn't show up as an opiate. I take three tests a week. It falls under another name. Will find out and let u know tomorrow.

Hi my name is Michele. My daughter was recently put on probation. She gets random urinalysis tests and while dhe is on subutex, her tests keep coming back on a fine line of morphine. All opiates derive from morphine and subutex is a narcotic..I just officer sees it that way. So far he'$ ben col.

I am going to the dr. for allergys and i think they may want to do a unie test and blood work. The problem is i have taken subutex for the past week. Will a regular routine urine test automatically show any drug in my system

I am being drug tested by DSS. Will the drug screen test positive for Buprenorphine (subutex)?
It is perscribed to me, but I don’t want to test positive for it only becaue it will cause DSS to stay in my life longer than necessary.

Yes they will let u be on suboxone maintenance. But when they initially test u make sure they know u are on them and explain that you are an opiate addict and have been trying to get yourself off of opiates with suboxone. I went to my sub dr clean from opiates and on suboxone. I told him that but he didn’t write the script out test for suboxone. So when I came back in he said there were no drugs in my system. I asked him if he tested it for subs he said no. I told him I’d be back in a few min and I was going to go cop. Lol anyway he told me not to and let it go. Long story short they don’t test for subs initially since it’s a medication to get off opiates. If you are taking them already make sure you tell the doctor to add it to the test. If you already have opiates in your system then don’t worry about it because in the initial test that is really the only thing they are looking for. And unless specified the lab doesn’t test for suboxone.

I have a physical this Friday for a new job. I am prescribed subutex. I just want to know if I should try and get clean for the drug test and not let them know I am on subutex or tell them I am on it and give them my prescription papers? I don't know if they test for it or not, but it is a pretty big company and I have to go to a health department to take my test.

If u tell a doc that u have been buying them and taking them then your body's become dependant on them. The doc will prescribe them because your being truthful. They urine and blood test most...if your going to that type of doctor they know u need help but Suboxone is very expensive unlike Subutex. Tell him or her u were taking Subutex. Believe me, u will thank me later. They don't like to switch your meds but strips at the pharmacy are 26$ for 2, unlike Subutex which are 2 for 7$ and are both 8 milligram.

I thought a subutex urine screen is not a dip stick test: the facts are I'm in a Px clinic I go for my specimen give appt 20 days after last use of subutex. I wanted to know if It would show.

I am prescribed subatex but instead of taking the dose of 4 a day which is 32 mg I would insufflate only 16 mg, I was drugged tested on thxgvng and subs showed up. Got a second drugtest on fri and on wed the drugtest said I had no subatex in my system at all. How could this be if I have been taking it everyday the same way nothing had changed. Just askn. I heard insufflating doesnt hit the saliva.???

Hey I'm on subutwx because I'm allergic to the nalaxone?? that subutex is minus... what state, if you don't mind me asking, do you get them in, and do you just get them for any reason? It took me 10 months at least to get switchd from sobos to subs... and it took switchig programs/doctors.... can u gice me some info on that?
