Does smz/tmp ds 800-160 come in a smaller pill? my 92 year old mom take one tab daily as a preventative because she self caths due to inability to urinate. But she is starting to have trouble getting that pill down. Looking for a smaller pill that will be easier for her to swallow.

I'm afraid all the ones I've seen are about the same size.
However, it is not a time released tablet, so you could just cut or break them in half for her to make them easier to swallow. Thus, she could just swallow two halves, or 3 thirds, whatever size makes it easier for her to swallow.

She also may want to ask her doctor about prescribing something else, or a liquid form, so she could avoid this problem in the future.
