Does Savella Help You To Lose Weight

I just started savella yesterday and i am curious to know if i can expect some weight loss with this medication. I am also taking celebrex and chantex the fibromyalgia pain has greatly improved since i started taking the celebrex however I still have slight pain throughout my body I am sure that things will get better its just a matter of when and if the extra weight that I have gained has something to do with my pain. Good luck to all of you out there who are sufferiing with this terrible thing called fibromyalgia,

Savella contains the active ingredient Milnacipran, which is an SNRI used to treat major depressive disorder and Fibromyalgia.


The most common side effects may include: nausea, constipation, insomnia and palpitations.

It is not known, however, to cause either weight loss or weight gain.
