Does Neurontin Affect Mri Results

I just started taking 900mg Neurontin 3 times daily for nerve pain in neck. I am due to have an MRI to see if there is nerve damage, will taking this med change the reading of the MRI?

I haven't found any warnings that you shouldn't take it when having one, so I have to assume it doesn't.

You may want to check with your doctor to be certain, but usually they will warn you, when you need to stop taking any certain medication before a test.
