Does MiraLAX expire? And if so, can you use MiraLAX after the expiration date? Also, how much is recommended for a single adult dose?

Of course, some medications age much faster than others, with varying impact, which is why we're inquiring about this specific one! I've read that for the majority of medications, expiration date is set either by a conservative standard for that class (when studies of older versions have not been done), or by when the meds may lose 10% of their efficacy past the expiration.

I believe so. My PCP said expiration dates are required on meds but will work for up to a year. May be not as potent but will still work. I wonder if there’s a number on the bottle to call and ask as it is a liquid. My doctor was referring to pill form, tablets etc.
