When I get my Metformin script filled in CVS in NY it's a different pill than when I get it filled in Florida CVS. Both are apparently Metformin but since they are from different manufacturers is the efficacy the same?

They don't check every batch of metformin coming into the country so who knows what the heck you are getting in these generic pills....
