Does Lorazepam Show Up The Same As Xanax On A Drug Test (Page 3)

I went to my doctor today to get my scripts refilled and he gave me a drug test to check my levels? I am prescribed .25 mg of Xanax 3 xs daily and 150 mgs of Effexor daily and methadone. Since I ran out of Xanax and took lorazepam instead will the lorazepam show up as the same thing as Xanax?

I'm a bit confused. Our doc tests randomly also. If something shows up that should not, they don't get ugly. But, you are sent to hospital to take a second drug test. Now if you take 2, 3 tests and they are all showing positive for something that should not be there one of two things is happening. option 1, is you are lying, however I think option 2 is more likely. Option 2 is you need to sit down with ALL your scripts and read up on ALL of them. There are some meds that show up as something entirely differant. Example Lomotil is a nausua med, but can and will show up as Demeral!!! When E.R. Dr prescribed Lomotil I went straight to our dr when they opened on monday and let them know, and remind them that it can show up on a test as Demeral.
