Does Estroven Cause Cataracts
UpdatedI have been taking Estroven for about six years now. All of a sudden I have cataracts in both eyes. Due to St. John's Wort photosensitive properities they may possibily promote cataracts. Anyone else experiencing cataracts after taking Estroven?

Which formulation have you been taking? There are several available.
As to cataracts, I didn't find any reports of it possibly causing them. However, since they are over the counter supplements, they have not been tested, and evaluated by the FDA for any risks, or benefits, as is down with prescription medications. Typically, the only reported side effects are nausea, and dry mouth.
