UpdatedWhile taking Doxycycline can you still breastfeed? If not, how high is the risk level if breastfeeding on this medicine? What effects does it have on my breast milk?

What has your doctor suggested?
Doxycycline is an antibiotic, used to treat various types of infections.
Common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.
It can cross the breast milk to the baby and in such instances it may cause permanent discoloring of their future teeth.
