My foster son has ADHA he just began taking D-amphetamine salt combo 5mg. it is blue, round, x on one side of tab and cor 130 on the other side. how long till i start seeing it work for him and what are side effects and signs that its not working.

It should start to have some effect immediately, since it is an Amphetamine combination, but it will take about 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full effect in his body.
If it isn't working for him, then you won't see an improvement in his behavior or attention span, when that 4 to 6 weeks has been reached.
The side effects may include nausea, irritability, loss of appetite, insomnia and you can read more about the mixed Amphetamine Salts here.
