Re: Verwon (# 1)
I am in San Diego, CA. I had surgery on my left knee - broke patella in half. Most painful. Also had left shoulder replacement from a fall and broken humerus result of subsequent fall. Need norco to be comfortable and prior to PT/OT.
Hi,
I live in northern Utah and have been on pain medication for years and need to find a new doctor or clinic and don't know where to go. Please HELP, it makes it so I can function and now can't do much of anything and can't take NSAIDS due to bypass surgery.

Please, can someone tell me if there's a doctor in Wichita, KS that prescribes pain meds? I moved from texas a couple of years ago and had a doctor for ten years in texas that prescribed me norcos for a herniated t-8 and t-9. Plus i have fibrous masses on my left frontal lobe which causes severe headaches. I'm in so much pain my stomach is constantly nauseated. {edited for privacy}. Thanks and god bless.

Re: Tony (# 145)
Where is he located at? I'm in a lot of pain, everyday, and I can't seem to find anyone that's understanding...
Hey I just moved to Augusta and I need to switch everything over. I'm freaked out because some doctors give you a hard time with pain meds. Any suggestions ?
Jenn, if you receive only SSI you have Medicaid not Medicare. Studies have shown those in Medicaid are more inclined to abuse drugs. Few doctors accept Medicaid because it pays doctors little compared to other insurance.
I am so distraught at the propaganda being shoved down the throats of the American public in the name of saving OD deaths. Addiction is a disease just as chronic intractable pain, however two very different things being portrayed in the same manner. We suffering and dying from untreated pain have been left to being murdered by our Drs in the name of saving addicts.
If addiction is not treated there will be no saving..... Only constant relapsing until death. Taking away life saving pain treatment from intractable patients merely murders us leaving the addicts to continue their behavior of abuse. Ultimately ODing thus losing their battle to live.
Gov needs to treat addiction and leave us to the medication made to treat pain saving our Lives. Two totally different diseases being lumped together, which is murdering us all. Leave the Drs to do their job which they have dedicated years of their life to train for, get the
Gov idiots out of the law making of what they not know.
Very simple answer to save hundreds of thousands of American lives.
Pain patients please please please YouTube natural pain remedies along with your diagnosis/condition. Many remedies for healing the cause of pain. They are completely non toxic like most RX meds, less expensive, no risk of prejudice and refusal to treat. May be used with your current medications and allow chance to gradually reduce and stop meds. I've NEVER KNOWN OF ANY DR. WHO dispensed pharmaceuticals to reverse or cure any condition/disease. Only give surgeries and toxic meds, never resulting in a cure of disease or condition.
I'm going through the same exact thing . I've never been in treatment but ended up on suboxone because after 15 years of percocet I thought I was doing the right thing by looking into sub & methadone. My counselor & I talked about it for a year . It's been 2 years & I see mydr every 3 months I'm on 2 mg 4 x a day & no it doesn't help even close to what I was on b4 my Dr refuses to let me take 10 mga day & that's all I really need. I can't change Dr because I cannot find another one willing to take medicare & with ssi $ I cannot afford the hundreds of dollars. Hang in there & know that someone else does totally get it.What really makes me upset is I have years of medical records & a updated MRI that's a road map and I can't get any compassion it sux!
Anyone know of Dr that isn't scared to prescribe Norco 10/325 for chronic back pain in PORTLAND OR GRESHAM OREGON ? Please advise. Thank you.
Oh I'm way beyond that point I've been doing cortisone & steroid injections since 2003. I got worse from 2007-11 pain management during this time. June 2011 had a fusion l3-4 Dr said he couldn't make promises but my first surgery had fragments of disc left behind he was trying to fix that. Went on disability around this time age 34 then I had a tooth extracted & my low jaw started growing out of NY lower jaw bone. UH did a biopsy 4 cancer & I was told because of massive amounts of injections to my spine I have Necrosis of the jaw a.k.a bone death. That was 2015 I had a stimulator implant trial & fell down my steps so pain Dr sat me down & explained I have failed back syndrome & nothing more any Dr can do. I've been with a neurologist for two years & decided to go on suboxone because of how you can't get the right control. I just turned 40 & I never leave my house. I do the best I an
Jean, I believe your going to have to do what most chronic pain patients in this forum do, research and find a pain management practice near you. As far as I know (unless someone has told you otherwise) those days of referral from someone are gone. Times have changed. Get online and see what's out there. if you have your records and test results you'll have a better chance of getting in to see a doctor. Good luck
What is the name of the Dr that prescribes pain meds?
I know this was commended on years ago But I had to tell you I'm one of the disabled who lives in low include housing & because of the addiction awareness it doesn't matter that I have rods & screwz in my spine You think you knew so much when you wrote this & you have no idea...Official diagnosis was failed lumbar surgery l5-s1 & l4-5
