My doctor stopped prescribing me vicodin due to the new law here in FL. Does anyone know any doctors in FL still prescribing schedule II drugs? I don't have insurance and can't afford to go through all the MRI's again. I have multiple injuries and the Tramodol does not help as much.

I don't think we live in the same State, but a friend of mine gave me the number of a dotor feel good. He prescribed me, the xaax I asked for, plus oxy. but I don't want the pain killers. This is too weird, having a doctor prescribe you something you don't want. I swear the wait to seem him was 3 hours, he has been doing this or years. Great for the people who really need their meds. I am looking for a new doctor to go to. I have fibromayalga or however u spell it but I am very young so doctors just think I want pain medicine but I do and its an honest need for t. I am willing to take a drug test to prove I'm the one taking them not selling them and I need it soon. My doctor now in Aiken,sc is charging me 350.00 just for the visit and then my prescription is 100.00 for my mess. I can't afford this I need a doctor in the Aiken sc area or Augusta georgia area I can't take paying this much anymore please help me find someone who won't shut me down or break my bank please.

Before I say anything I want to Thank You so very much for all that you have done and continue to do for all Americans! God Bless you soldier and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I am a Christian woman so if you are familiar with the Christian values, then you are aware that we pray for everyone. In other words, if you are not of my faith it doesn't matter. I am proud to have the honor of exting you. As for me, I live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and I have many back and hip issues that began while giving birth to my first baby. I was 110 lbs and 5 ft tall when I delivered her and it broke my tailbone. I couldn't sit for about two months and to this very day I cannot sit straight. I have to lean to one side or another. Then I had a severe head on collision (by the way, I was not at fault) and that did a lot of damage, although there are more incidents I won't bore you with, I have been told there is no "surgical solution" for me. All the docs can do is keep me comfortable with pain meds. Now I have been taking these meds for a long time and we moved about three yrs ago so I began a new doctors office and he took my meds down significantly, but I was feeling very normal and decided I guess I am getting better so I will do what he asks and decrease my meds, or I would have the arduous journey of searching for a doc that would have kept me on the regimen that gave me such a normal life back. It only took less than a week if even that long before all my problems started recurring with a vengance. So I went immediately back to my new dock who increased my meds minimally. Now I have been on this regimen for about 3 yrs and I have been telling him that something needs to be done because I am having so much pain I am staying in bed more ofte, to now I cannot even lay in bed anymore. I can only sleep in my recliner and my life absolutely sucks. This is where I am right now. In my recliner writing to a straner, a Hero nonetheless, but still. I could always try to go back to Columbus, a 2 1/2 hr drive, but there must be someone in my neck of the woods. I was on the Fentynal patch (75 mcg) he took me off that and put me on 20 mgs OxyContin...personally I don't think it helps at all but I continue taking it, I was taking 4-5mgs OxyIR 6 x a day and he took me off that and put me on 7.5 mgs Vicoden 8 a day and he did allow me to stay on Carisoprodol at 6 a day. Because my pain is so outta control, my BP went from normal to 220/123, consistently. I have 5 different BP meds and the lowest it's been was three days ago at 160/111 . What is wrong with our country when we will not allow people like me with well documented proof of my painful condition not have the appropriate meds because of the "war on drugs" ? They are fighting the wrong people! For Heavens sake, I'm not a drug dealer I. AM A PAIN PATIENT. Doctors are terrified ti give their patients meds for fear of getting in trouble. Bullsh*t is my response. Certainly with all the sophisticated "Big Brother" stuff we have they can tell the difference between someone in desperate need of medication, from a drug dealer making scrap in their houses or shipping it in from God knows where. I need a doctor now. Is there anyone who can help me? I have health insurance. I am not looking for a handout and I also have documentation on my conditions. Sorry USMC Sout Sniper, I didn't mean to go on this rant, I'm just like everybody else, I just have excrutiating pain. I feel like a big baby though after reading what you have been through for my rights as an American. I Salute you sir!!! I wish there was something I could do for you. Hey Clare, just read your post and it's sad when docs just give it out as if it's cant. That being said, I have very severe pain and need a doc desperately. How can I get his/her name privately. Maybe he's worth driving to for me. Maybe u could reply to this post and we could figure out a way to email privately. Thank you! In VA and looking for a Dr. to give me something (Fibromyalgia, hip and knee arthritis) Feels like some one dropped me from a 4 story bldg. Have followed PCP recommendations to the letter with pain rubs, fibro meds new and old ones, and neumerous other things. Seen Otho Dr., Pain, Med Dr. and Rheumatologist and NONE of them are giving me anything but the run around. I am within 20 min of Richmond VA if ANYONE can help. I don't know what to do next. My PCP hasn't returned my call since Jan 13th. This is sad. I need meds.

Hi Elky, what medication are you looking for? You might want to try bestrxpillstore, make sure when placing your order that it's being shipped by way of Fedex, or you might get your medication from India. They are both good, but with Fedex, you know it's being shipped from within the US. No customs to worry about. Also, you will get a valid prescription along with your medication. LAWS IN WASH.STATE SUCK MY DOC, WAS TAKING ME OFF VICODIN, SO I FOUND ANOTHER DOC. AND NOW THE STATE HAS A SYSTEM IN PLACE THAT WILL TELL YOU DOC, THAT YOU ARE GETTING IT FROM MORE THEN ONE DOC. MY DOC CUT ME OFF COMPLETELY, AND NOW I WILL HAVE TO GO THOU WITHDRAWALS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Thanks johnny in chronich pain they have been good to m. I am going to look into that. Just really skittish about internet stuff. newbie says enough but will learn quick because I am so tired of going to here and there and no one helping. Everyone can give me diagnosis but doesn't want to help.

I don't know where you are atwith these pain meds, withdraw? Or still have some pills left, but if you ahve someone very close to you that you know you can trust hold on to whatever meds you have left and start weening down slowly, EX: tAKE 3 PILLS for the first day, and then go down to 2 and a half the second day, and third day, and then 2 a day, until you get down to your last few pills cut them in half, this will not totally take all the withdraw away, but it definitely will be a lot easier to come off of them, if you are totally out ask your primary Doctor for a drug called clonopine, and anything to relax your muscles from spasms, best to you.

Taking 3 pills in a day would make it harder than ever to get through this. If you can and really try to please. Take a half for the day, remember the more you take the less you have and if it's not done the right way, this isn't going to help a bit. Please don't take more then 1 of the pills in a day.

I live in se Michigan. I was in a car accident in 2009. I was the passenger and the car I was in got tboned. I've had surgery on my neck the disc replaced between c5/6 and have 3other herniated disc w one bulging. I do not want any other surgeries and because of that decision my orthopedic surgeon decided he does not want to write me any.more scripts for pain meds or to see me. And when I asked him how I could all of a sudden have a new herniated disc he told me it.was.bad luck.which really upset me. Does anyone know a good pain clinic around troy mi??
