The most important FACT about generic opioids is this.

The FDA allows up to 43% less opioid per medication that is generic. Meaning it is cheaper because it is less powerful and will give you more need for higher dosages.

90% of the generic patches are 43% less Fentanyl I was on BRAND for almost 19 years and since I metabolize so rapidly my drug bill which near killed me due to my injury and the employer deciding to just KILL me was over $30,000 per month.

I will again suggest anyone suddenly without medication or a physician save their life at a Methadone clinic.

When I refer to AD it means anti depressant and will point out that in itself is not enough to control severe, intractable pain.

Oxycontin is the long acting Oxycodone drug for over 25 years now and although we no longer can get the super high dosages it is still available; less so in Florida, and California where addicts break into pharmacies just for the drug, and even with the bead of Narcan within it (reverses the opioid effect if you abuse it), we have had long acting Oxycodone forever and some days--many, and more days...

If you fire a pain specialist you are destined in America to NOTHING; there are legitimate patients DYING in the thousands due to the morphine equivalent restriction of the CDC and FDA in 2014.

By making this suggestion PUBLIC physicians then face malpractice if they prescribe and you die, overdose, have a secondary complication.

Dental problems will occur, you will deteriorate on opioids. Today they do implants and if your insurer is responsible they should pay for secondary effects of your NEED FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT.

I am back again 48 hours later. Please write back if anyone has any pending issues you feel I can support you on. This is a critical time for all in America right now--I urge all of you here to vote for Trump to ensure your constitutional rights have a chance--due to the last president America has deteriorated rapidly and with INTENT this party had and has every intent of allowing the terrorist faction in to take over and no longer do the 'donkey' political party work for the little people.

Trump does not need money and knows how to make money. Our international partners such as England and Israel see the salvation of him winning and restoring America. With this comes your needs for pain management and general health care. I do not care, we MUST do this as we are at a huge loss; we are losing pain patients around America due to the ridiculous lies permeated through the government allowing the CDC and FDA POWER when even the DEA is shaking it's head over this huge joke hurting millions of pain patients.

Robin, I wish I lived where you are?? Pain dr forcing you to take your pain relief?? I almost died trying to find relief after losing 12yr dr. here in FL. Where are U, BTW??

P450-sooo glad you still holding on....I have dr. in Orlando, FL now who will only write for a third of tapered dose which is 2% of my original stable dose before all this nightmare began. Being my diseases are progressive that amounts to extremely close to undetectable relief. I stay @ 8 or 9 pain level reported to my dr. as such each month yet he only says he wishes he could help but the CDC guidelines wont allow him if he wants to keep his clinic open... such a cruel thing our government has promoted. Also I just saw a report of calculated survey of Clinton winning by 80% chance as of this time :(( So afraid we are doomed even if patients are waiting for the election. There MUST be a way to stop this madness, but when pain completely disables the faculties I simply cannot think of a strategy-it is just impossible. This has gotten so out of hand that US citizens are forced into agony, deteriorating health due to pain, stress, suicide from overwhelming pain, etc. when there are estimated 130,000 chronic painers here why cant we be heard & addressed?? I wish to hell my brain could be allowed to work somewhat ya know? Best to you all-we need hang together in this.

Methadone , is not the best one to be on . It stores up in your bone marrow and other parts of the body. Then when you least expect it it releases all that has been stored in your body and can cause death. I know a pain dr. where I live only prescribed methadone until he went to a convention on methadone where he found out how many people were dying from it, that when he got back from the convention he quit prescribing it and chanel to prescribing other opiates for his patients. Yes it my work for some people but I will never take it.

I don'the know if there is scientific evidence about it. I'm just stating what the Dr did after he attended the convention for drs. about the death that methadone has been known to cause. Most people that take it are just fine and doesn't cause them any problems. The deaths that it caused could have interactions with other meds that they may be on.You should ask your Dr about the interaction with any other meds you may be on.I think you will be alight and what I said was second hand news so it shouldn't be taken as fact.

Sorry my last message had so many typos..was in a terrible state BUT I'm happy to say that I was able to get myself off of ALL my pain meds BY MYSELF. It was terribly hard to go through the withdrawl with no help but I got through it. Going to see another doctor who may be able to help me with minimal pain meds and I'm seeing my surgeon to see if this problem can be fixed once and for all. The problem is SOME, not all, Dr's see most patients as specifically wanting only pain medication and not resolution of the reason for the pain. Hopefully I can get this issue under control because the pain is going to be here for the rest of my life because of the nature of my injury. Good luck to all of you going through the same thing.

I have just had to contact the Governor of the State due to CONTEMPT of Court in regards to my NOW Supreme Court Order. The agency involved lied to his office trust me this is dirty and I will go to the NEWS immediately I will not be murdered by what is going on in this State system (not Texas) and if I die ya'll will see it on national news.

Methadone does not do what you said. It may soon with the communists running America be the only long acting drug you can get. In rare cases (so get an EKG and have doctor monitor) it can cause a rare cardiac event and death. It builds up slowly due to liver pass being so long so it cannot be INCREASED even if your pain is not yet controlled. An increase of ONE TIME A WEEK IS ALL period, you can have other medications with it.

f100, it will soon be the only medication for long acting. Please if you have a medical question I will try to check in. Do not push people away, drugs like Duragesic and others will NOT BE AVAILABLE very soon.

Since I have been put into life and death again and am on Methadone I may not be on too much as I fight the system again and potentially arrange MEDIA investigation. I will say this, i am giving the Governor who was LIED TO or given FALSE information a chance to see my Court Orders and act immediately. I have written proof of ALL and putting me in this situation again shows intent to kill or as we call it intentional harm.

METHADONE has a very long liver pass. Inexperienced physicians need to ONLY increase US once a week even though you are still suffering. They can prescribe some Oxycodone (fast acting), Morphine or Dilaudid; Norco if you prefer for BT; I for example as you know require LIQUID since i am an ultra rapid opioid metabolizer.

Some of my medications include: liquid Methadone (the top pain specialist in America used to run and own almost 20 open Methadone clinics in California and has confirmed to me it is the BEST long acting medication for any and all chronic pain patients in America today--further that many of these other drugs like Duragesic are TOO STRONG were released too soon and are causing many issues--the older drugs such as this one created in Germany under Hitler WORK for a reason), liquid Oxycodone, Morphine inj's 10 mg./ml., Valium, Methylphenidate (Ritalin) or Dextroamphetamine (Adderal), hormones as prescribed (I do B12 inj's, Premarin), certain steroids per examination for inflammation, Toradol inj. (short term ONLY), copper/to remove pain ions that cause electricity in the body magnets/remove positive electrical charges) and so on. Each physician may or may not be comfortable with certain therapies.

I was on brand name Duragesic (high level amounts q 24 hours) and am still on a taper. Long story short the stuff is POISON and you will not be able to get it soon enough, not with the DIRTY GOVERNMENT controlling our FDA and CDC. Our DEA is safer for pain patients these days, trust me on this important information.

All of you must vote Trump and getting America back. PLEASE on that day we must move out and vote as a group.

I have had a DNA test done to show how my body metabolizes pain meds. Morphine does not touch my pain. I have had the fentanyl patch one time for my other hip and it worked wonders! I have 5 bulging discs in my lower back and just had my second hip replacement Tuesday. The doc wouldn't give me anything except for the s*** I told him didn't work. How can I get meds that will work for me? Doctors treat you like you r stupid and don't know your own bodies!

P450-Wowie, you are just amazing to keep going after all that has been done to you. My prob is after over thirteen yrs my body has nothing left to fight with.... Too much pain for too long. Still being under treated my bp, adrenals, kidneys all are giving up. Agree totally that the Media is our best bet for results. Have said all along, the last cycle of under treatment to good treatment to under treatment was finally resolved by using Media to alert our public of what was actually happening so things changed. We have to get truth out to the public for they are being fed propaganda. Continuously making us out as druggies, drs as evil, which has left us without the help we need by all the public. With your knowledge & experience I wondered how methadone would work for those of us being fast metabolizers. For i have been afraid of it with a bad liver on top of it. My brother took it for a long time and said not to take it for it's really the worst withdraw there is...... Plus my body likes oxycontin, hates morphine, so methadone may be useless for me. I HATE the recent poll about Clinton rating an 80% chance over Trump...... Maybe still enough time to change that? Sorry holier-than-thou 450, instead of telling me what I am doing or not doing why don't you put all that knowledge to better use by getting some law makers or congressional people to hear your story and about them about the millions or intractable pain suffers that they are putting a death sentence on us all.you can always come up about your rapid metabolism, which most know on this Web forum all have heard about it so many times now. And dr. T owned 29 methadone clinics in california some time ago. My son was taking methadone for his neck and reacted with other meds he was on . I found him dead 4 days after he started on methadone so don'the preach to me about what I say or who'said name I may post on here. Do you really think you are the only one that has fast metabolism of the many intractable pain patient in the country? Maybe you should take you own advice, you do not know every thing.
