Can you tell me about any doctors who can prescribe Vicodin

BL-I have done acupuncture,biofeedback, self hypnosis, knee wrap electro treatments, bone growth electromagnetic arm treatments, but psychologist how much cost? Am low income pay all meds, treatments with patient assistance that makes it free. Besides what can psychologist due about broken bones cant be cured? No mind altering there-I also not sure how get your link on post 2419? What do I do to get it from here?

Chris, you have to go back through the posts until you reach 2419. A pain psychologist can advise you on ways to cope with the pain. They go to school for a very long time and they have ideas regular people don't think of.

I have and amputation above knee from a mva in 2003 nerves and discs messed up in back im being treated but my surgeon can write so many... and my pcp wont help me

I have been to 3 pain medication doctor in St Petersburg Fl and all they want is to give injections. I do not want injections in my spine. Does anyone a doctor who gives pain medication?

@ Dawn please read older posts in this forum i have posted info on Pain management (medication not just injections) scroll down and i have named a few. I did put University PM and i havent personally been there but someone else had and they replied that he doesnt. I know for a fact Genesis in Tampa does so you need to call the few places i listed just to make sure. Keep in mind although Genesis does they have qualifications u/a's MRI' etc..they will fire abusers QUICK!! Good luck

to Laura post 2495. In wheatridge co its caleed CPR colorado Pain relief give them a call also there's a forum titled Doctore that are willing to prescribe heavy pain medications. ppl in co all help each other there. im sure there are other dr.s too i moved from cO 8 months ago. oh also in littleton there is Andy Fine he's kinda weird in a nice way but he will write (i'm sure there is qualifications you must meet) i know he takes cash and it's not as expensive as most PM's good luck to you my fellow pain sufferer

to Chris 2488 wow i understand your pain. I know in Tamp Genesis will prescibe especially if you have all your mri's scan, clean urine. please look them up, give them a call. i have posted dr's in tampa in this same forum scroll down read afew pages back i posted them all good luck

BL what state are you in that says only 120mgs? I know Kroger king soopers in Denver are. They had a legal suit. Someone overdosed so i know they passed a law that they will only fill up to to 120mgs of controlled substances from all sources including like benzos. This is not true for my FL PM nor my pharmacy, but i have heard this from folks in other states. Please I am very curious. Also if this were law in every state wouldn't it have exceptions for cancer patients?

Chris Genesis 1st appt is 300, 175.00 after. if u have no ins. make sure to request in-house drug panels because they started sending out u/a s to Quest costing some patients deductibles that were more than their weekly pay! i think the 1st visit is consult, they do a background check and go through your paper work. maybe u can let them know u r traveling far and having a consult to come back a week later is very difficult 4 u. maybe if u have all updated mri's and all requirements possibly could write you for that day. usually rx more than 120 a day. They usually prescribe as close as they can to what u have been previously prescribed..well hoping u r not too far from tampa..

to 2436 from CA i totally understand, i thought you were describing me when 5 years ago in a diff state a dr acuused me of something i cant remember. it wasn t true but for 2 yrs i went without mefs not even tramadol. i almost died. i was suicidal bcuz the pain was so awful i did biofeedback and psychtherapy my therapist was nice i also went to a foot dr and did some neurophaty therapy. idid all i could naturally it was a B-word ..i made it through. Please post back and let me know if u still need a dr..

Robin-sorry I was so sick but got computer on so could lay & talk but computer froze up!!!!! Couldn't get unstuck,so pissed! Still wont take link (says error try later).Already made appt Genesis but cancelled cuz unsure if would write around 200mg/day which I can make it on for awhile at least. Tis 4 hr drive one way-when I went to a one hr appt I got so much pain BP 178/116 then wouldn't treat me. Idk what 4 hr drive would do to me-afraid end up hospital unless stay overnite rest up? Idk but if for certain deal I can try.....Thanks for info---I hate this desperation to live-it just unfair....

That bull Chris! what the heck! i don't like your blood pressure so high.. you watching your salt???? I have to go to NYC next week 2-3.5 hours depends on traffic i HATE IT but i have to go....
