Minoguesqua THANK U !! Sent a message 2 u a while ago. Thank god my ins. Co. Told NO on these other drugs. AGAIN PAIN IS PAIN it's plain & simple. I'm afraid2 ask 4 help anymore . Looking on line ... Hope maybe I can again a place I used to trust . Do ur homework on these poisonous drugs. And the additives that come from everywhere. The ER doc was so right. Withdrawals r horrible haven't been able 2 do anything. @ least I'm a bit clearer. Xoxo

I MN and am RN. Treated at pain clinic for 6 years then my count was off cuz daughter replaced meds and they cut me off. Got all meds back but i need new doctor cuz i can't eat, losing weight and in pain alot. Help MN

Is Cymbalta the brand name for duloxetine? If so, they tried to put me on that and I did it two days before realising I was getting the same side effects as with tapentadol and tramadol, and it turned out to be, right enough, an SNRI. These clowns either don't read my notes or they don't CARE about PAIN as you so rightly say should be the diagnosis no matter what the hell the cause, be it fibro, spondyloarthritis, cancer or whatever. PAIN pure and simple which requires analgesia.

I mentioned my current OC script, 80mg daily, which is a THIRD of what I was on ten years ago! Opiophobic docs are a HUGE problem here and I have to supplement by buying up OC and MS from others to even get close to the level of analgesia required. How they can reduce me from 240mg daily to only 80mg is beyond my comprehension. And I really do feel sorry for Americans who have not been able to get OxyContin for five years now. I speak as one who has actually tried the substitute, the plastinated 'OP' tablets which bear no resemblance whatever to real OxyContin as described in the patent and as dispensed everywhere else. They felt about HALF the stated strength and gave me dreadful G.I. side effects and a bloody great HEADACHE to boot.

I would imagine that NOBODY accepts 'OP' pills and that all have changed onto IR Oxy. The problem is that in the USA these are TABLETTED and oxycodone does not take kindly to the binders used. Which is why we use original brand name Oxynorm capsules, which in 20mg dosage are MORE effective than the 30mg US tablets.
The point of my post though was to ascertain whether there is any way of my being able to access Use-only meds like Hydrocodone bitartrate (ZOHYDRO ER) high dose IR hydromorphone 4 and 8mg, and oxymorphone HCl IR and all of these are only available in the USA (the high dose IR Hydromorph is also available in Canada.)
Any ideas at {edited for privacy}?

Just 2 fix food or clean up is hard . Then this itching. Y r they making feel like I'm not worth saving. My family is sad I haven't told em all this. Lately so I try 2 b happy as I can wen I c anyone or talk. So I don't much it not right thank u. The places around here no I've been sick and bring me out some salads & fruit. Thank God. It's so unfair I want 2 help like u used 2. These T-3 barely help , but I hate the tramadol & have tried 2 get off it b4 . Stopped completely & got do sick.

F100 thank u. I'm still in need of a doc. Here in columbus area. But trying 2 c wat I might need 2 do. People can't & shouldn't have 2 live like this. I have even told docs that I'm crawling around my house just 2 do a few things & when I can get out it's great ! But not consistent. Not sure wat else I can do. All the products I've tried & no I won't do shots or implants that's rediculuss . When u no that if they'd prescribe what had helped u. Now they won't still trying . Have a few tramadol so I don't pull off 2 soon & a few Tylenol 3. That's not helping even the ER doc new this he could c I was dealing with way 2 much & afraid 2 say much. So I thank u. Have been up so much wen I fell asleep I didn't even realize it. Wish we could talk ... Thanks

Karen from columbus ohio, you are not alone I think that anyone who has been on any amount of opiate pain meds has felt the same way you are feeling.I know I have many times and know no one should have to. My state is one of the worst for people in pain they want to put in inplants. Karen, Dr.Tennant had given me the name of a patient that was to know of Drs. in Houston, Texas that was going to take seven of his patients so they wouldn't have to travel so far. I was one of the seven because there wasn,t anything that would help my back other than pain meds, so I called this guy and he knew of 1 dr. that would take intractable pain patients. And Dr. Tennant paid this guy for finding drs. for the seven of us, lol. but here is the Drs name in Houston, He is at Houston Pain Associates, Dr. Allen Burton, 7700 main st. suite 400 Houston Texas 77030, ph. 832-553-1336. He use to be with dept. of Anesthesia & Pain Medicine. He worked with cancer patients before. I found that it cost more to fly to Houston than to LA and I live in Nebr. maybe some of you may find this would be useful may work for you.

It's hard 2,explain not sure if this is the right thread again . Feeling a bit disoriented 2 day. Or displaced not sure . Did get some sleep I'm not sure yet what's going 2 b 2 day. Haven't talked 2 anyone in a while I'm 2 afraid I might say something wrong or not look ok 2 my friends & family. I miss feeling human ?? Can anyone understand me ??. I hope ur ok 2 me friends on here. Hope this shows up.

These withdrawals r just crazy up & down ,nerves, shaky , hot , cold, Hungrey then not. Itchey then sick . Three weeks & more b 4 . Please let's b able 2 get better. I hate feeling like I've been poisoned

I,m glad that what I posted may help some one. I,ve been going to cali. for 6 years now. I see Dr. Hy and he is very compassionate and wants to help patients to be pain free and live a normal life as they can and fuction to do just the normal every day things we did before all this pain took over our lives. Dr. Tennant is a great guy as he found the other Drs. to help us that have intractable pain. He goes to the walter Reed veterans hospital to help those vets that are dealing with pain. I wish you all luck in finding a dr. to treat you. I put my e-mail adress on here but dont know if they will post it, I,m willing to talk with anyone that needs to talk to a fellow pain patient.

thanks karen, trying to get these posts right, just nice to know there are so many others out there. been looking on line and may have found a doc, will call monday. i am on a waiting list for the county hosp system here in dallas, i am on disability and have avery limited income, and dont qualify for medicare for another year, so just trying to do what i can.you can only take so much alleve,motrin and tylenol before it starts to tear your stomach up.

Karen I've got a few relatives in Texas Austin I think their still there. I will try 2 call them and c. I've been so itchy and the antihistamine isn't helping when I dose off I'm afraid cause it feels like my body is not me ... I've been up for days now hope it gets better let us no a not more of ur condition not sure but trying . My best I nobi will b up again 12:00 till morning it's hard to change and I miss going to church or cing my friends.

NJSHORE glad 2 c u on here. . Yes I sent a message 2 dr. Tennant on Friday. Hope. 2 learn more on Monday. It took a whirl but I found his info on the web . It's nice he's fought 4 better HELP with PAIN.Wish these other states would WAKE UP!! & the DEA stop HURTING us & our FAMILIES . Please show us some COMPASSION & RESPECT ! We don't need 2 b looked down upon. I've served & protected. Trained b the best of the best. & miss the quality of LIFE . We all would like 2 get.! Wranger 74. Theresa I'm trying 2 move back 2 Kentucky. It helps I learned 2 put ur name first so it goes back 2 u... It's nice 2 b able 2 send a message & try 2 help even if it's encourage ment we need it. Not feeling bad that we can't find anyone 2 realy listen then we do & can't stay for treatments because they closed or moved or changed ins. Etc. Haven't seen Co. Or Marriane in a while.
