Doctors Who Will Prescribe Heavy Pain Meds In Louisiana

I’m in Lake Charles and my Doctor stopped my Percocet 10/325 mainly because I was complaining about it no longer working. Different manufacturers & fillers I believe. Anyway I’m currently on SSI Disability for my chronic pain and since stopping the Oxycodone last August I’ve had no quality of life. I can’t sleep well because of pain and can’t wait even do Daily living activities.

New Doctor just kept pushing Gabapentin and different antidepressants, plus I’ve tried Lyrica & Cymbalta with horrible side effects from all. They’re trying to make me crazy. I don't even care if it’s Oxycodone. I’d rather have something that’s extended release. I’m in Lake Charles if anyone knows who may help me close by and not judge me.

Sorry, the days of living on opioids is over. The pharma companies lied about how to use opioids and promised they were not highly addictive and were great for long term use.... well, that all came to an end recently. NO ONE is prescribing opioids long term any longer.... short term for an accident or surgery is about it. Good luck to you.... I would suggest cannabis as a possible treatment for your pain.

Hi! Sorry you are in pain. There are many people and Dr.'s in support of chronic pain and opioid therapy. I believe one of the Dr.'s is in Louisiana. I do not remember his name, but I suggest you ask around. Good luck to you.

There's a pain management doctor in Lafayette and I believe he charges around $250 per visit. I'm sorry, but I can't recall his name at the moment.
