Hey, i am on the up and up, have RA. Please share that docs info if you would, im in houston, tx
I meet that criteria please respond
Hi Ann, I don't meet that criteria really but I am 25, I have been seeing a regular doctor and all they can prescribe me is Norco and it doesn't work. The Nuerontin and Flexeril help a lil bit but not much I have a bulging disk pinching my sciatic nerve and I have degenerative disks. I cannot afford surgery I could afford pain management if it helped me be able to move around easier and keep working ft. I've been hurting for almost 4 years now with very little relief, my doctor just recently started giving me Norco cuz hes the walk in dr at the doctors office I got to and the other dr wouldn't and he seen how miserable I am. I want my life back. I don't care to be experimented on or poked and prodded at to make my pain worse. I know what works for me and what doesn't and I don't want to pay $100s of dollars to be poked at. When the emergency room gave me 3 days worth of 4mg dilaudid I could actually move around and play with my son. I wish I could have my life back. Could you send me a list of drs in or around Houston that may be able to help me, I know you can't determine what meds they will give but just that will see me under my circumstance. {edited for privacy}
Hi Sandra..I see a dr in Houston, Morphine is hard to get. You may want to try dilaudid instead. I know of one but you must be on the up and up, have mri's, xrays, past medication records from pharmacy and records from previous pain dr.
get back with me if you meet this criteria
Hello, Sandra! How are you?
I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will prescribe that I can refer to for you.
Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, getting a referral from them will likely be the easiest way to find the help you need.
