Doctors That Prescribe Methadone In Ny (Top voted first)

im a carpenter in ny, I was going to a methadone clinic, but unfortunately I work from 5am-5pm daily, and that's when there open. I need an alternative way to get methadone. It was working, nothing else really works for me. Maybe someone knows a way, or dr. Im located in Hackensack nj, but work in the city. I do have back problems, I don't know if that would help? I know dr's will prescribe it for pain, rather than addiction? I was on 40mg a day and I was fine, when I stopped, started using H again. please help if you can.

I'm sorry, but with the addiction clinic listed in your medical records, no doctor is going to be able to prescribe it for you. It is against the law for them to do so, even if they wanted to prescribe it for pain, they can't, because of your use of the clinic.

Thus, your best bet is to stick with the clinic.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am at a methodone clinic in alabama but now live in rome ga and i drive about 168 miles there and back because i work there im alabama. I have insurance ans was wanting to use a physcian to go to instead of spending 400. Dollars a month can you help me.

I am a heavy use H addict I have tried suboxone it dose not work for me it just makes me feel worse and gives me head aches I am 40 and Ben using since I. Was 17 I really need to stop or I will shurly die for good next time I have overdosed countless times I just want this to b over with this is my first time seeking help please I cannot live like this any more I want to live a normal life please I have insurance I don't want to die from this thank you

Michael as a Recovering addict myself in which I've been in a clinic setting for 22 years, and then I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2011 and my clinic sent me to a pain management doctor where I've been getting my medications since June 2011. So YES a pain management doctor can and will write you the methadone you need but you must get an MRI Stating your back issues, just because we are Recovering addict doesn't mean we don't have cronic pain issues! So if you do have a back issue than call a pain specialist and make an appointment or ask your clinic to help you, but words of advice be honest with your clinic and your pain specialist doctor, you first have to be released from the clinic than a pain management doctor can see you!
