Doctors In Albany/saratoga Area

Just looking for a doctor that will perscribe pains meds preferably 15 or 30 mg oxycodones. I have had four knee surgeries, currently don't have an Acl and lost 30 percent of my meniscus and have osteoarthritis and am in pain quite a bit. If anyone knows of any doctors in the Albany area it would be greatly apprecaite. Thank you.

Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you.

The only thing you can really do is set up an appointment with a pain specialist, make sure they get a full copy of your current medical records, then keep the appointment and discuss what they can do to help you. If you feel they won't help, then you'll need to try a different doctor.

However, do not ask them up front when you call if they will prescribe any particular medication. Since it is a controlled substance, they will view that as drug seeking behavior and won't even let you get in the door.
