I am 50 and work a hard labor job for 25 years. I am in chronic pain constantly. I want a better quality of life and to continue to work. I need a Doctor in Orange County, CA that can prescribe Norco for my pain.

I am in the same boat... went from 8 Norco to 4 in one office visit... and they expect me to just cut back overnight. I need a doctor in the Buena Park area that will prescribe me with 8 a day. i don't need anything else.

I suffer from chronic pain every day. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Heitel hernia, IPS, COPD and thyroid problems. I've had 19 major surgeries. I have been on 100 mg morphine three times today for the past eight months. prior to that two times a day for two years. I am on 15 mg morphine twice a day for breakthrough and Ativan are related to pain and stress. now my insurance says i'm taking over the required amount of pain medication for morphine so my doctor took it down to 80 mg of morphine twice a day and 15 mg 80 mg ER twice a day. then my insurance would not cover it. They made me try other forms of medication such as the fentanyl patch and Nucynta which is supposed to be an opiate. my doctor put me on the lowest dose. now mind you I have a low pain tolerance and a high tolerance to narcotics. I have been on pain medication since 1999. In December I was in exquisite pain not to mention the new center put me in detox also. I don't see how it is an opiate. my doctor would not change the Nucynta so I resorted to two days of illicit drug use then finally my 80 mg was approved by my insurance and I got that. I still have pain that it's not taking care of and I can't stand the pain. my doctor has me coming in every three weeks instead of four. he makes more money that way and it costs me more in prescriptions. he's only there 2 to 3 days a week, no emergency phone number. I need a new pain doctor, one who's not afraid of the government or insurance that will see my necessary needs and fight for me. my doctor had a partner who was arrested for prescribing pain meds so freely, so he is very very scared. I need a good pain doctor please.

Hi so the Dr I have been going to the past year or so has requested for me to get a new MRI and all new Paper Work because all of my Paper work is from several years ago and from a different state.. At the moment I dont have health insurance so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on a good place to get an MRI and I dont mind paying a couple hundred dollars for the thing but I just want to make sure that which ever MRI place I go to and spend that type of money has my best intrest at hand and wont go out of there way to just try and get me off of Pain Management (Which has happened in the past).. Does anyone have any recommendations or know of a place that gives affordable MRIs without health insurance.. One that is used to working with people in Pain Management in the Orange County, Los Angeles, or San Diego Areas? I need to find one ASAP so any information would help! Thanks

Go to Steady Care Medical group in OC. It's on 2001 E. First St in Santa Ana and they will prescribe you anything you need.

I went there to be seen for chronic pain and I had all my medical records, but they had a list of about 20 medications they do not prescribe at the counter when I walked in, and , of course, my medication was listed.

F*** Orange county, you need to go somewhere else. It's s*** here. I've had pain for years. Try Riverside county - doctors here aren't the like that.. In Riverside they actually try to fix your pain and prescribe you the right thing for your pain...
