Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Ohio (Page 2) (Top voted first)
UpdatedDoes anyone know of a good PCP in the Columbus Ohio area willing to prescribe Norcos for pain of the middle to lower back? Please let me know as I am in a bit of pain and just moved to the area. Thanks.
Thanks for the encouragement herman. I know that I'm just worried. One of the med assistants told me she knew they weren't closing but moving to hilliard once hes gone, leading me to believe one of korbys close acquaintances ESSANDOH IS buying the practice. Which will be better than most. Just concerned. I go back a week after he leaves so I will let u know...last month they reduced meds i had been on for 7 years. So worried. Thanks for reply and lets stay positive i guess.
Yea thats the plan but they are cutting people drastically. More than half. Eric told me the plan last month which is why im in such a panic. Almost worth driving to Detroit once dr k gets opened up in 6 months as he told me he was gonna. I get cutti g back but 3/5s. Is crazy to lose over 3 months. Especially after being on it several years as i have and hes the one to do so....jus a bunch of bs. The nations laws are just ridiculous. I hope all these law makers get to suffer from there on lawmaking decisions here one day soon.. take care. Ill keep ya posted on how it goes.
I totally agree so insanely unfair. I have secretly prayed that some of my docs would slip and fall , or develop the same ailments I have so they can experience what it's like to walk in my shoes! Major pain, every day! And
F*** the CDC and DEA!
I'm sorry, I had no idea there were such a petition out there. If it's not to late and if you could provide me the info as to where to sign, I'll be more than happy to put my signature on the petition.
Try CPS-Comprehensive Pain Specialist, but expect to get tested almost every month... that's the expensive part, and they have a new rule of not prescribing more than 4 pills a day... self imposed rule that they claim is in the works to become a new law in Ohio, but I spoke to another doctor who never heard of that, so, idk, but they are one of the very, very few left that will actually prescribe in central Ohio. There is also an office in Cincinnati. Good luck to you. Ohio keeps making it harder and harder for the honest people in serious pain, but easier and easier for the abusers... ironic isn't it... almost like they are doing it on purpose.
I'm so happy..I found Dr. Korby..he was saving my life with the pain I was in..I was so sad he left..He told me that he would open a practice in Michigan and he finally did..He is the best Dr I ever had..he's the only one who really cared..I get my appointment on Thursday..nobody cared like he did..
He was having sexual relations with a patient and giving out controlled medication like it was candy. Why would you want treatment from him? It is beyond understanding. Are you addicted to drugs?!
Time we pain patients should put our congress in our condition to see how we have to live on a daily basis. I bet the laws would change. Time we fight back.
Need doctor in or close to cuyahoga falls Ohio willing to prescribe morphine for back pain n dilauded for migraines. I currently suffer n the pain is making me mean I may hurt someone. stupid f***ing DEA cannot do their job only because I'm too f***ing lazy so you take away our pain medication I'm sitting here in pain until it dries us out of our minds and when we're done destroying the walls I guess we're on the destroying other things thank you.
Pain pumps... know this...leads break. Batteries need changed at LEAST every 5 years. Many surgeries. You need fat on you. It goes beneath fat or it comes thru the skin!!! I don't have fat and also can't do surgeries because of allergies to antibiotics and hospitals are FULL of germs/post op infections. I'd die. I went to Cleveland clinic...I would only trust them. One doctor in Col. told me he got a partner (this doc retired) and said he was going to change a battery instead of the unit...he said 'let me know so I can leave the op room as it will explode!!!' Stupid doc.
Medical marijuana is coming to Ohio. How to pay for it is the problem. Till the Fed govt gets on board insurance companies won't pay....so...? forget Columbus I can tell you that. I don't know about doc below...I heard theres a dirty clinic on james rd but don't know personally...but the dea is reading this too you know....that's why you don't see responses. God bless.
I'm on subs I eanted to see if I was just hook on pain meds or if itI was n my head, I justI had a amputation, plus had a heartattak, I stay hutting. How can I get on my pain meds??
Forget about korby. He annouced his retirement this week...so please anyone knowing a good pm in ohio, please share. A lot of people like me who have seen a great doc for years whos retiring are going to be up a creek with nowhere to go...please someone help....Please i beg
Herman are u still goin to korby or
Have u found someone else as awesome as him. He is retiring and his last day is in may. Hopefully u know someone else half as good as him and u are willing to share the info.. i too am one of his patients for several years but have concerns of what the next few months may bring for us.. please let me know if u would b so willing.. thanks
The problem is that everyone thinks so selfishly. Did anyone ever stop to think that they are "cutting" people's Rx to stay compliant with board regulations?
DR. PATEL AT 3600 OLENTANGY RIVER RD. GOOD HONEST DOC
DR. PATEL AT 3600 OLENTANGY RIVER RD. GOOD HONEST DOC COLUMBUS, OH.
Have you tried stronger strains of medical Marijuana the black market stuff is fine with experienced person I'm off pain meds and function better
Hey...I know they work well initially, because I'd gotten them in my knees..and one reason my doctors were working so well was he was putting Xylocaine in with the steroids. But steroids break up the meniscus between the disks..and you DO NOT WANT THAT!!!
Dude! No wonder doctors won't prescribe you pain meds on any level. I want you to be pain free, but any angry outburst or fit not having them, WILL NOT get you pain meds. The doctor (s) will see it as addiction. Im just keeping it real dude. Good luck. I believe you're in pain but asking for strong meds like that will raise eyebrows. Try Roxi 5mg, or 10's
They are probably the safest and are liver friendly.
I used to see Dr. Korby. Since he closed his office doors I am unable to get my medical files. No one seems to know where they are
