Does anyone know of a good PCP in the Columbus Ohio area willing to prescribe Norcos for pain of the middle to lower back? Please let me know as I am in a bit of pain and just moved to the area. Thanks.

this person is lying. Dr. Korby would never ever do what she purports. I know Dr. Korby very well, he is a family friend of over a decade and I've spent time with him and his wife socially. by the way, its considered libel when you write lies about others. You could be engaged in litigation...

patients have the right to their medical records. i also did not receive my medical records after sending a written request to a po box as instructed on the voicemail of Dr. Korby's office. the management company kept all the records in the hope of keeping the patients because they thought they were opening another practice with another physician; however that never came to fruition. i am considering contacting/complaining to the medical board. perhaps you should, too. Ohio State Medical Board is whom to issue a formal complaint against the management company, not Dr. Korby. He has no relationship/interest with the management group.

I'm looking for a compassionate Dr to help me in the Athens area that accepts self referrals and insurance as I have spinabifida occult and spinal stenosis in my back just to start with, my back was broken in an abusive situation and bulging/herniated disks. Not looking for anything with a kick maybe vico professional to get me up and walking.. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! !

Does anyone know if korby opened up in michigan yet. Worth me drivin 2 hrs to see him as i drove an hr each way before. Half these other docs r a joke. He said he would b opening around oct or nov. Just seeing if any of his old patients heard anything.

As much as I understand you don't want to believe it, Korby did something horrible to me in March of 2013. I felt so dirty afterwards, and it happened so fast and so casually that I truly didn't see it coming. So before you judge and assume this female only wanted meds and didn't get any, from my experience that was not the case :( I am a law-abiding person that just simply needs pain relief from debilitating degenerative disc disease, RA, and facet joint disease. He was giving me ample meds, which I think he either thought meant he could do other things as well, or he was undergoing something that deeply fogged his ability to make soundmind decisions. I didn't ask for that to happen to me, and I feel sorry for this woman as I know how I felt. The fact that "she" is now being called a liar on this thread confirms that I did the right thing by not coming forward. I just wonder how many others are out there. I never filed any type of complaint because I thought it was an isolated incident. Not to mention, I feared never being able to get into another PM. I figured if my name was plastered all over the medical board's website for this type of complaint, that other PM's would be fearful to treat me. Here I am making excuses for him and for myself, but at the end of the day, it happened to me too and that's all I can say about that.... I did end up finding another PM, thank the Great Lord above, but it was no easy task and is still a struggle since they all seem to want to lower the only med that seems to give me any type of relief.

I used to see Dr. Korby. Since he closed his office doors I am unable to get my medical files. No one seems to know where they are

I totally agree so insanely unfair. I have secretly prayed that some of my docs would slip and fall , or develop the same ailments I have so they can experience what it's like to walk in my shoes! Major pain, every day! And

Ubevb been dealing with several amounts of pain over the last 15 years and I've had my spleen removed a very safe vacation I think shingles I have slipped disc damage nerves bone spurs arthritis in my back I have arthritis in my right knee I have arthritis in her arm and I have five metal plates

Dude! No wonder doctors won't prescribe you pain meds on any level. I want you to be pain free, but any angry outburst or fit not having them, WILL NOT get you pain meds. The doctor (s) will see it as addiction. Im just keeping it real dude. Good luck. I believe you're in pain but asking for strong meds like that will raise eyebrows. Try Roxi 5mg, or 10's
They are probably the safest and are liver friendly.
