Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 85)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Yes...I know the feeling... i always have to travel to see my doctor... But like I said in my post the other day I've been seeing this one doc that is actually a orthopedic doctor/surgeon and he does pain management but his nurse is a witch and I have to practically beg her to get him to write my script every month..... But anyway I hope you call Dr.Jeremy Brown cause he's such a nice doc...

Dr. Jeremy sounds like exactly the doc I need. I'm looking for a primary care doc and would love to not have to drive to Denver for my pain management

Danny I'm sorry you're also having a tough time finding a good doctor. They are like unicorns these days. This forum is difficult to get information like names and phone numbers and email addresses because of privacy policy of this page. So I'm not 100% sure which number you're looking for but CPR is Colorado Pain Relief. They're in wheatridge. Google their number. As for doctors, what part of town are you in? I personally do not have a great doc to suggest I'm hoping my internal med guy will refer me to CPR... Hope you're all having a low pain day!

Hey everyone... The number to Dr Jeremy Brown is 719-766-9000.....If you Google (The Hansen Clinic) you will see that he does pain management and does family practice so he doesn't sweat u over your past and he has such a good demeanor....

Yes.i would lov the phn #.i hav everything i need as in mri's,referral,med reports but its been so hard to find a decent doctor who will look past tattoo's, long hair and all.God blessyou for tryin to help.hope to hear from you soon.Danny

Thank you....I can travel as far as Pueblo if need be... So a radius of 120 miles in Southern Colorado... So from Trinidad To Pueblo but if need be I would go as far as Colo Springs........

U could try dr Andy fine but he can be a rude ass person at times he is by very friendly but in tha end I get ur meds but u have to have all ur proof 1st visit period like mris xrays and even empty pill bottles wit wat I have been on and if ur over weight he wil tel I flat out 2 weight but like I said he wil give u pain meds he is in Littleton co

Dang Dorothy, I'm sorry you don't have a good secure feeling about your doc. I know how bad that sucks. I will ask around in the support group I'm in and see if anyone is down by Trinidad.

Hey everyone... I hope everyone is doing okay...Most of the people on this blog are from Denver/Parker I'm down South in Southern Colorado Trinidad..And can't seem to be able to keep a doctor..They all usually find some excuse to quit prescribing medication or if there having a s****y day and your he next to be seen than they take it out on you....I have a Doc now but I have a feeling it's not gonna last to long cause his nurse is a b****...anyway if anyone can recommend a dr. It would be nice...thanks... :)

Rainbow medicade wont pay back for CPR .Everyone that has tried failed .If you google CPR the number will come up for you

Rainbow, I'm sorry you're going through a lot. I'm also going through a lot and could use some real friends, virtual friends help but I could used some human interaction with people who understand what we go through. I live northeast of Denver not by much. I'd love for us all to get together for lunch brunch happy hour whatever. I don't drink too often hardly every. I think we should make plans to get together, as many as possible? I'd be happy to drive us....

I know of a Docto in Pueblo West that gives out meds his name is Dr. Jeremy Brown M.D./ D.O. He is very nice but don't goin off the bat sayo G you o ly want to see him for pain management tell him you need a primary care physician which he is and on your second visit tell him that your in horrible pain and were taking pain meds...He is very understanding .....Hope this helps someone....
