Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 77)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Why doesn't someone turn this Charles guy in? If I had used his pharmacy and he pulled this crap with me I would be looking for whoever licenses pharmacies and I would be lodging a complaint right away. He deserves to lose the business for what he is doing!

TAMMY2... Couldn't agree more. He told me and my b/f he was in extreme pain from old war injuries but was allergic to pain meds so he "he had to deal". I can assure you this a**hole is not suffering like we are!! every day!!

Why can't I find a doctor that writes pain meds like that? 8-10 a day? That's proof that the DEA isn't setting these intense regulations on break thru meds if doctors can still be practicing while prescribing that much.

I asked Amanda and all she said was dr.May quit and she cclaims she doesn't know why but if you want to talk to him he is in Oklahoma the city is ducun its by Lawton but he runs the hospital there in Duncan, Oklahoma but he can't do anything since he quit cpr. So I don't know what or who to talk to about this ahole pharmacy owner who is on a power trip.

So apparently they have "NO CHOICE" except to file it.... and all Leonard could say was it will be harder to find one that will see me because that's in my records..... But there has to be someone out there that will believe me.

Hi all!! :) , I've been the quit observer for some time now. Now, I've decided to tell you all my story. Firstly, I live in Oklahoma not Colorado. I'm on workmans compensation and have been for 5 years now. I'm told I'll settle for a a handsome amount...but, I've yet to see any changes. I've had neck surgery 2 years ago, with titanium plates and scews...it a failed surgery because of all the damaged nerves. WC made me wait 3 years with spinal column compromised spinal cord. Then they did a MIR and CAT scan of my whole spine....bad news broad band disk bludge DES and FOUSIT(spelling incorrect) a completely collapsed disk sitting on my tailbone cause pinched nerves as well as no e spers. 4 herniated disk counting straight up from the bone on bone one. ,Then to continue, RA and my number are very high. High blood pressure that requires meds and high cholesterol. Then went yesterday because of a bad pap test.... cancer in my bladder and all in uterus endometriosis bad and everything has herniated precooked even my bowels/ rectum....God he put in me in surgery and now chemo the 7 th then my eyes were drying out and hurting so went to eye doc and be DID some test came in took my hand and said " I'm so sorry to have to tell you this but, you have the beginning stages of glaucoma" I have bad feet went to doc and he said " you have some of the worse feet I've ever seen, you need surgery on both feet" and went on to tell me retails of that surgery....( taking a DEEP breath) Die like to mention since in ranting, that I also have terminus in my face and have lost over 50% hearing in both ears and the ringing and pounding is enough to drive a person insane if you let it. If that's not enough,I have been falling out, like passing out and messed up both my knees and when I was younger in my last 20's had knee surgery for ripped cartilage. Now my knees look like I'm an abused wife with big carpet burns. This is just the major illnesses I have and since this first post I figured I clue y'all in on my chronic pain. Ok now, my husband is from Bolder Co and I stopped in Denver on a Bus ride years ago and said this is where I want my roots. I'm, with that moving takes a lot, . I mean money, jobs, affordable housing, cause I will be buying my home. Now here finely is my question. I am on pain management here and so is my hubby. Housing market is better. I want to take my settlement and but realestate. If I ever get that settlement that is...pushed it back to November and its going to court. They have to settle times up! Been over 5 year. Our doc is in on city and he's a cash doc 150 first time and 100 after, my husband is scared we are already accomplished here, I hate here, it's a desert 105° today! The earth is red dirt...I wasn't snappier to be stuck here!! Damn it. So I need following y'alls post and need help to pick a town that affordable enough and I can't live without some sort of pain management. I only get 3 Percocet 10/325 a day and had to demand that...I get soma and ambien and lyrica then blood pressurepill called lessoral I not spelling that right. Lol so basically, I need info or just someone to fill me in on Colorado cause/ ik I'm sappost to live there. FYI, I have three boys ages 24,16,11, I think I'll be on disability soon idk...maybe I just need a a friend. You have 3 weeks unless he fast track the report to your record .What they just did other than had you arrested because they can by law press charges or dismiss you.Is let you go .Amanda knows your already screwed Noone will touch you , your black balled high risk .Find another cash clinic fast .

They don't believe me because they claim that there is no possible way for that to happen and when it does, they automatically have to release the patient. I didn't go drive 45 each way just to be told what I know I was going to be told. They had already sent them to "Charles'" pharmacy and they "proved" there was tampering. But my point is "tampering" doesn't have to be by the hand. If marks get on the date at all and it looks changed, you're screwed.

Know they both told me to continue looking. They didn't say I'm black balled. Just that they have to release me and the reason will be in my records.

Every state clinic I went to referred me out because I was on to high of meds 40 oxycotin et release every 12 hours 2 a day dulid4mg 120 monthly demerol 150 shot I get this here at other places they tried cutting my dulid4mg to 60, oxycotin to 20 mg long acting 12 hrs 2 day no demerol once a week .Doctors are allowed so much per month for pain patients. A lot won't deal with us. A lot of pain clinics only offer inj's., not narcotics. Because people are over medicaded and dying. There is no reason why some of u can't be on a long acting oxycotin other than u dont feel the high. that's two pills instead of 16. There going to get rid of quick release oxy soon.

Mac, Get your records NOW from CPR. You can always fax them to your new doc and just leave the last visit off. I had to that once. I have seen 7 different providers in 18 mos and each time I fax them my records ahead of time. No one has yet asked me to sign a release to get them directly. And ttry SPINE ONE IN LONE TREE to get you by.

My appt as SAS is at 3... I have SERIOUS butterflies. If they don't help me I'm going to be getting SOOOO sick and I'm a straight A student.... UUUUGGGHGHHH THIS SUCKS SOOOO BAD!!!! And Cindy you're not on THAT much more than me if you look at the conversions between morphine and oc, and oc and dilaudid, plus demerol.

Did you go to cpr with your prescription to ask them to change it and then they said u tried changing the date or did the pharmacy call cpr and say it looks tampered with? I don't see how they would know unless it was a different color pen and you wouldn't chance getting ur meds and dismissed by a day, howcan tthey be so stupid. And yes have Amanda copy ur file and then take out the bad part and just tell the new doc you couldn't afford them anymore. Dandb who is ur doc in Oklahoma? If u look through the threads here you will see many docs and clinics listed but we are having issues with CPR so stay clear of them in wheat ridge.

I'm on tons wich would be cut again we all know that if I wasn't paying for it .CPR is good when you need it .I'm looking for the other cash clinic that's your only hope .They won't care as long as u pay .
