Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 274)
UpdatedI have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!
Re: cliff j (# 5460)
Hey cliff j, do you know if a few of the long-timers are still around? Like JaneyGirl, CO Susie, wendy, Rainbow, or verychattysarah? I can't seem to find where they stopped posting, but I'll continue reading back.
Re: TnJack175 (# 5461)
I wish I could be of more assistance but I do not recognize any of these screen names.
Re: cliff j (# 5462)
Hey Cliff j, No worries at all, thanks. This is a very quiet thread these days. Anyway, if you want to talk, that would be great, if not, no problem..
Re: Orginal Wendy (# 4719)
You're not Original Wendy.. Your spelling is too good..
Re: Deeds (# 4770)
This post is 3 years old, so I seriously doubt any of the players that are about to get scammed are around anymore, but if you are I'd like to know how all of this turned out for you..I'm sober as a church mouse, so I can see this coming.. The majority of the people planning to meet with "Original Wendy" are so desperate and over- medicated that they can't even see that this person is not even close to being "Wendy".. If they would have only seen that, but I still don't know the outcome yet.. I'm still reading, but I can see it coming. (the spelling alone was a major red flag, because the real 'original Wendy's" spelling was horrible, and the one running the potential scam's spelling is perfect, as is the grammar). Okay, back to reading post #4780 on pg. 239.
Re: cliff j (# 5462)
Hey Cliff j, I don't want to confuse you or anyone else that follows this thread, cause my 2 posts above are in reference to a post that's a few years old. I'm just trying to find out if any of those folks I asked you about are still around.
If you have a bad back get a medatronic pain pump.It takes a little while to get 99 percent relief, refill every three month. Its very potent.
Re: Rider (# 5467)
I started on a buprenorphine film called Belbuca. No more pills. This seems to be working pretty good. Thanks for the heads up on the pain pump..
Re: David (# 1)
I swear to God, I was in your position if not worse because I dabbled with not only pills but Xanax 8mg a day and opiates. What saved me was Subutex. It got me off the bad opiate, and I only take a lower dose 4-8mg of Subutex a day and 2mg Xanax a day. I now have jus hit 5 years at my IT company. There is hope out there even if you need pain killers. Subutex works! You don't get high , if your ready to function inife Subutex instead of methadone (which makes your bones brittle) after years..... After 6 months on methadone I broke my arm skateboarding. Went back on subs and everything was better so, try it out. It worked for me. Buprenorphine
Re: MaC686 (# 2)
Subutex, Xanax, and Adderall which are high prescribed in the northwest and Chicagoland area - so crazy that people I haven't seen for years who are not dope fiends or didn't know, are on either a combo or Xanax / Adderall and Suboxone, or Klonopin / Adderall and Subutex, or Vyvanse / Lorazepam or the shot of Buprenorphine (which I heard is the worst). You sweat the whole month. But all these good functioning people I've known forever are on this combo for back pain to be productive and to go to bed like w Xanax. It's crazy.
Re: TnJack175 (# 5461)
I have been here a long time. Some are still here, I didn't get to go to the meet and greet, but I heard it was fun and everyone had a good time.
Re: TnJack175 (# 5461)
Why are you asking about the original group? We stopped posting for a while due to horrible people judging and creating drama!

Hey I know it has been a long time but I am just now seeing this. I am not even sure if you still visit this forum but yes I was with CPR, but they let my provider go and I absolutely loved her so I went with her. I am doing ok, if I could just stop the domino effect of illnesses, I would be perfect.
As for Nate's mom, they handled that with efficiency and tact. Hang in the everyone, one day, one step at a time.
Have you gone to a pain doctor? ALSO: I found out I genetically metabolize certain pain meds to fast, so taking oxycodone is out because before it can start working, it leaves my body. SO I am on a stronger one that lasts longer. (stonger opioid) I have a great pain doctor who gave me the test. You might want to ask for the test. And see a Pain Dr. I too live in Colorado
Thanks to Trump, You should seek out a dr that does medatronic pain pump. Low back pain? It will give you back your life on low dose localized treatment.Refil it once every three month. It takes about a year to tweak it perfect. I am on a tiny dose.Probably like 30 oxicontin every three month through the pump. Its like being in the hospitol, and having pain meds injected. Then you need to get your life back.Try stem cell products.
Our Politicians have declared war on DRs and there patients. I hope you will find the dr that does that.
Re: Lydia (# 5474)
In order to get a pain pump they will do a dna study to see what will work best. This is for back pain. And its a blessing when done with patients honesty.Get rid of the pain and use products like folic acid stem cell, also make sure its not a cancer that weakens bones.make sure its not flank pain, which could be kidney. But the pump will give you back your life, what happens next is nutriotion for bone repair and strenth.stem cell products work. But are a touch expensive .

Hi , and Rainbowflowers! Good to see your name. Is CPR still helping ppl? I went to methadone clinic and it’s been the best for my pain. I don’t have to worry about the medicine stop working. It covers me 24 to 48 even 72 if I had to , sux I had to give in is hat I Anna say. I couldn’t afford pain man. Cash$ no longer. I haveMedicaid and Medicare.
I’m no goody goddy, but I have an some things at this s/ any clinic. Ppl will inject whatever drug in parking lot walk in and get a strong dose of methadone. It’s sad really. I can’t imagine doing any more than the methadone. It keeps me covered, not worrying cuz my pain spike and I took 3 more pills than prescribed for the whole Month..
Good luck to all of you one load of laundry at a time!
Re: Chaos (# 5477)
I haven't been with CPR for over a year. I don't know anything about them
Re: MaC686 (# 6)
That is why YOU cannot get anything!! Calling others junkie ass people, you are drug seeking yourself! If you are NOT dependent YET; you will be.. Oh, as old is this is; yea.
Re: MaC686 (# 10)
I know this is old, but DAMN!! Why are you bothering with college if you are going on disability? You judge others, so here is YOU some judgement; I am 100% disabled, have 3 crippling diseases, and cannot get pain meds- anyone can become addicted ( dependent) on medication, YOU ARE NOT BETTER OR SPECIAL!! If you are able to attend college then YOU ARE NOT AS BAD OFF AS MANY FOLKS!! I cannot even walk my dog anymore due to pain interfering with my being able to sit or stand for long. It amazes me how some ppl like you name off your aches & pains then state how unlike junkies you are... I think YOU are the disgusting one, we could judge you being 21 yrs old, getting on disability & wanting narcotics, but you are ok with a free ride to college! ??
