Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 239)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Wendy in no way have I been ungrateful. I am not the one questioning you charging. Please just go through and read my posts. I just said I can't come to Denver. I don't know if I'm not being clear, but I'm definitely not being ungrateful.

Why would you say Dr Anderson is a joke i want to put it out there why see a doc just for pain when he can cover all bases just asking and that joke of s doc has seen me month by month and after y he do every 2 months of meds so your not spending so much if you pay out of pocket I got every 3 months I don't have to use his pharmacy I use who ever my script is at the desk every 3 months to pick up I only see him to evaluate in most parts new pain more pain or anything else so boom a joke but I bet I get my meds

Forgive me for the confusion but Dr. Anderson sounds perfect. What city is he located in? And if you are so happy with him, why ask Wendy for her dr;s name?

For those of us who couldnt make it to CPR is there another way to get the info from you? Also someone else asked "why 10 slots"? Im curious as to the answer.as well. We all appreciate your help but it is a new twist when someone starts charging for vital information. I just didn;t think it sounded like something you would do,I know you've been on this rodeo for a very long time.

I think there is confusion as to why Original Wendy is charging the $100.00. Let me know if i am wrong please Original Wendy. The $100 is not for info. It is to schedule you a place or slot at her Dr.'s office. The Dr only wants to take on 10 new patients and Original Wendy told her Dr that she knows several people who need help. She doesn't want to post his info and have him ruined like the Smith's. And the reason she wants to meet at CPR, for the people who use CPR is to get the info needed for the Dr. She is just trying to make it easier for you. She knows how hard it is to get through to CPR or to get the info needed for a new Dr.
So cut her some slack, she isn't explaining and i think she is a tad bit hurt!

Wendy... I would never doubt YOU... But it just seemed odd to ask for a fee for a slot... So I became concerned that it was not really YOU. And then someone posted under my name.. And then posts were erased. It was all crazy. I've been on here long enough to know that you are sweet and kind and trustworthy. It was just too much weirdness at one time. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings. Truly!

@Smalls I have read through these last few pages and I don't think wendy is going to pass along any fee collected to the dr. It's a bit strange to me actually that there are a fixed number of "slots" that she can give. I mean, since when to doctors tell their patients "I have 10 slots for people that you refer to me"?? The only thing that I can think of is she is somehow working for or involved in the dr office or maybe it's not even a real dr office. The admin already posted it's against the rules for people to use these forums to solicit business or charge money. If you guys know the person and trust her then great, because hopefully her heart is in the right place. But as an outsider it just raises some concerns. Sorry to say but collecting money for a doctor referral just seems unethical. I'm sure the doctor would not appreciate knowing their patient is charging a fee to give their name out.

I talked to Amanda at cpr today and actually am good friends with them as most of you are or claim to be. They have been looking for a doctor and have had physicians apply.. Nobody wants to prescribe pain pills anymore. All the mess started from 1 patient making false accusations after being fired. I stopped by and have seen Hector in the office today.. Everyone makes up so many rumors. Have you ever even thought this was out of their hands and are in a s***y position also. People are banging on Windows and threatening them.. That is how they provide for their family's and are good people. Don't you think if they were doing something wrong they wouldn't be there?? The medical board takes every complaint seriously and for safety for us they pull the license and do the investigation.. Hector is a good doctor and they are doing everything right. Amanda has been answering as much as possible and reached out to patients as soon as she had someone come in. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.. Yes I was left in a s***y position like all of you but when they get just as much notice as we did what do you expect them to do?

Who the hell is the imposter on here? There is the REAL -original wendy- Than you have someone under the name -Wendy-. This person is posting as if they're -Original Wendy- answering questions directed to OG WENDY. There's always going to be that one a-hole to ruin things. I really doubt the Original Wendy also uses the username wendy. There is an imposter that is contributing to the confusion that's been going on here lately. Also some comments have been taken down recently. There's some really sketchy things going on. Is anyone else noticing this?

MTNGirl - I think it was a friend of mine that didn't realize your name was already in use - she said her post disappeared, maybe admin took it down. I think several posts disappears because people had put contact info in, my bad.

I LISTED SOME DR INFORMATION ABOUT DR SHAWN AND JUST WONDERED IF ANYONE HAS MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH HER OFFICE YET. THE FIRST VISIT IS A LITTLE COSTLY BUT AFTER THAT IT'S 150 PET MONTH AND I THOUGHT SHE WAS WELL WORTH IT.

Who on here has gone to see Dr. Dex? I was just curious about how his appointments go, when you get there do you have a urine test first? Do you meet with a PA and then see the doctor? My boyfriend is bugging out over here because we smoke marijuana, and he is afraid that if it shows up he won't continue to see us and thinks he is going to be searched before he goes to the bathroom, etc etc. I'm trying to calm him down.
