I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Kratom is illegal in 6 states. Guess those states don't care about people. I use it INSTEAD of narcotics. Much safer. Don't think you can use it together with narcotics, though. Probably not safe.

Yes it definitely sounds like you have sciatica. That's exactly how it presents. I have it on both sides.. comes and goes. PT diid not help. I find it diminishes with the passage of time. Dr. D is on 84th..you would have to use google maps to see how far it is from you. Im in Englewood and it is 15 miles away. Also, Im not a Dr. but it makes me uncomfortable that you are using Percs that often. It is the Tylenol that can damage your liver. I would ask for oxy IR...they come in many doses..not just 30s. Let me know how it goes. God speed.

Chaos, that pain would be your sciatica and I see Lincoln myself but im sure he wont go up on the meds if u take a short term. I been there a year and I'm on a extended release and the 5s or percocet and I have been asking him if he can go up on that since I work at the dog food plant and he wont, just on the extended release he will but everyone is different and have different needs. So talk with him, let him know. He is an excellent dr and does not want any issues with the dea period. When his office got slammed with no ppl he didn't break a sweat, he kept rollin doing what he does, but just let him know ok. Hope you have a good day. Let me know.

Does anyone know if you can use kratom along with oxy and Fentanyl patches?
While you're trying to wean off the oxy and the Fentanyl patches can you use kratom is it illegal to use with oxy and Fentanyl like benzos and other stuff?

my 2nd visit to pt, I expected some pain, last week. I got a deep tissue massage and massage therapist left bruises on my buttocks and upper back. I reached over to get something in kitchen and fertile knife, nerve pain went from upper back to bruised buttock then shot down to my leg

Chaos I see you're in Aurora so I don't know how close this shop is to you, but I've been recommended Rocky Mountain Kratom by a ton of people, they are in Denver. Maybe you can get a ride there and try them.

Hi! I'm Kim. I completely understand what you are saying!!!!! I'm in the same space as you are and am finding it very difficult to find a pain management doctor. Mine is retired now, and the doc that took over is an ass and thinks that he is God too!!!! I would suggest him to you, but it sounds as if you have dealt with his kind before! If you hear of anyone would you please share the wealth? I'm in desperation as well!

Allen I pray for you strength - your leg is amputated, if it were me, I'd try to find joy in anything I could. Your Dr is taking your meds away slowly? Plz read back through this forum and maybe find a Dr. That you will think fit your needs.

Just a fyi, when I was looking for help about 6 months ago. A very nice person told me to look into
SAS Aurora. They are located downstairs from my PT. They have a sign on outside of door that says no longer accepting pain management patients. If you have read this forum from to back in sincere need of a Dr. To help, well this is one less. I need pcp so I told them I'm a cpp but I have that area
Covered I have my own Pain management clinic. Will see how goes.

Last Lexit, my meds r pretty low , my dosages can go higher before even reaching a ceiling amount. I too go to D. Lincoln. I started pt last week and I am in so much more pain.
I haven't told DR. L about this additional Palin I'm suffering, I was forced into PT, I was given a certain amount of time to get things going.
But I did mention my I.r.lasting only 4 hours but I'm rx d every 6 .hours...I'm talk in about 10/325 of perc.
With the $ I'm paying, I'm going to let him know I need a little extra help while doing pto.
I'd be happy with just 10extra a month during pregnancy at least.
However, I try to consider that Dr.Lincoln must be careful as to not have the DEA breathing down his throat. I'm a passive person, but I really need to speak up for myself.
Dr. Dex seems like a great Dr. . It's not asking to jump onto oxy....30 IR, (not trying to put down nor judge) Mosstly I just need an extra 10/325 a day but I'm made to feel ass though I'm asking too much. That extra 25$was my transportation stash I had put up...lol...I'm in Aurora how far from me is Dr. D?

Scott, I have tried the capsules, they worked ok. Who is your distributor, I've heard ppl are getting taken for, . It's very important that the vendor is using fresh tree and the drying of the leaf is very important. I've tried a few online vendors and a local store.
Maybe it's just not hitting the correct receptor. I'm down to give it one more try if you have a reputable vendor. I didn't mean to say distributor. TIA,

Do not take methadone because your heart be slow ... with time be so low that you will need pace maker...Take care

Where from in Texas that's where I just moved from I'm on methadone and I am going to drive to Amarillo to get my methadone until I find a doctor here in Fort Collins.. I guess driving to Denver would be better but with medicare medicaid spinal cord injury and end stage renal disease the problem I have most of the time is the doctors say I've got too many problems I just got turned down by Dr Turner the other day and he's a brain and spine doctor they wouldn't even see me bc they said I've got too much problems I guess I'm gonna have to do just the opposite of what a seeker does and try to walk without a hobble and not tell them all my problems. ....pretty funny.

A good reason to legalize all medications and follow the model in place in Portugal! Why such fear in Canadian and US doctors to prescribe appropriate medication for the medical problems we suffer from.
It seems understandable why people are forced to turn to street drugs in order to get the relief we need. Shame on our weak kneed, ignorant and uninformed doctors we have throughout the medical community in North American. They seem to view every patient as a drug addict. Nonsense. And, because of their attitude, many people continue to suffer. I thought they were to adhere to the edict of "do no harm to patients". Pathetic flush with hypocrisy.

I use one teaspoon per day of the slow variety. On really bad days I use 2. Everyone is different, and usually takes some expiramentation to find what works. Should dose on an empty stomach.
