Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 213)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

WOW!! I´ve been out of the loop. I haven´t gotten notices that anyone wrote until today. There´s been a ton of good info that I hadn´t heard of before.
I haven´t heard of this 90 day supply deal. Man, that would be helpful. I had trouble getting my 30 day supply filled, I´m still missing part of a dose of one of my meds. These 6 month´s of approval seems to change every month. I haven´t had my full dose of everything in over 3 months. This is bad because I had warned everyone this was going to be a tough month with moving and having to go back east. Actually, the back east maybe cancelled. The new place made a snafu the day we were to sign the lease, we had moving truck and friends scheduled the next day, we lost all the money put down on truck, then had no way to get moved. I´m into 5th day of moving, getting charged for rent at both places, I´m sure now our big deposit we were hoping to get some back, will be gone. My back, shoulders and arms hurt so bad because a friend and I had to carry everything up two flights of stairs. Although I have tried to give away over half we have, I still have furniture that won´t fit here and no one will take. I´m sure this will end up being a blessing, as the new place is cheaper and much easier for me to care for but with work to finish and after working so hard to get out of there and no fault of ours, I´m going to have basically nothing to make it through the rest of the month.
Thank God, I have u guys to at least get this stuff off my chest and know you truly understand. I´d go to the ER but I have too much to do. Everyone please say a few prayers I´ll get through! And if anyone has a truck, I do have one more load, not heavy stuff but too big for car that would be will to help, I sure could use it.
Ah, I just figured out why I wasn´t getting notices, my computer we think got hacked, I lost all my passwords on everything, looks like it erased this one when we got rid of the virus. No worries guys, it´s all gone.

THANK U SO MUCH FOR THE INFO OF DR.HONG i had my 1st appt yesterday with him and he is TOTAL WONDERFUL AWSOME CARING COMPASSIONATE LISTENS and takes his time with you in your appt he kept me on my current med that works for me plus a new long acting his staff is also WONDERFUL helpful and every professional very kind and by 1 time did i feel like they saw me as a pain med addict but as a real person they explain everything and $150 a month I can afford thank you so much I appreciate you and your help

To all my friends here, Janeygirl, orignal Wendy, mnt girl, jetmech, co Susie and all...i had my appt yesterday with DR HONG that was suggested by ihatethegovernment...let me say this Dr Hong is everything u need in a pain magament dr. He is awesome, WONDERFUL, LISTENS, COMPASSIONATE, his staff is kind and WONDERFUL as well. I made a same day appt with no problem, kept me on my current med plus a new longer lasting med. They explain everything, they do not treat or act like u are a pain med addict, they treat you like a normal human being. Dr hong stays in the room with u and doesn't rush out. He takes his time in ur appt PERIOD no matter how long u talk his focus is you and you only while he is in the room with you. He even allows you to have cannabis, if you do he even does red cards...there is no waiting list or a month wait to see him. All you need is to have MRI STAYS AND RECORDS from ur Dr and they can see u same day. He does do U/A's but I don't mind cuz that's what all pain managment Dr's do. You can choose whatever pharmacy you want. If any of you are looking for a new pain management Dr he is the perfect Dr for all ur pain needs. I'm glad i saw him. It's $290 for ur 1st appt; $150 each month and there's no waiting either for ur next appt. They see u a day earlier b4 u run out of ur meds.

Original Wendy u will like him he listens in glad i see him he talks with you he even laughs with you when he is with room all his attention is yours he looks at you the whole time you talk and they accpet cash only for visit but for you labs HAs referrals they can u ur insurance even medicaid

That's awesome Rainbow. I don't need him yet, but I'll hold on to his Info. I wonder if he charges that same amount to get the mmj card, I may have to call his office. I'd like to try CBD, as I've got RA symptoms now, and I'm not taking chemo drugs.

I am in need of this doctors name and phone number. I too live with horrable chronic pan and I can relate to all of you suffering from chronic pain. I was with a doctor for 6 years and he was great, but then he took on a new female doctor name Burke and she started to do UA's for marijuanna. I was never told that it was considered a class 1 narcotic ande that the feds did not allow you to be on both at the same time. As soon as she found it in my system she kicked me out of the office without warning or a referral. I too have detorating disc disease and the chronic pain some days is unbareable. Rainbow that was my Dr. And I was praying he would take me back I've been gone 18 months I was very nervous. When I was seeing him they took my Co medicare and Medicaid. Did you c him at his office in Denver or the office in Arvada? He is awesome. He did my facet injection then I'd go get adjusted by the Chiropractor he owns the facility in Arvada

He only takes cash but if u need labs or referrals then you can use ur insurance...is that why you left? Just call. He may take you back as long as you left on good terms.
