Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 136)
UpdatedI have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!
Re CPR - according to some of the threads on here, CPR is recommending a mail order pharmacy for meds. Are they generally cheaper that way? I have consisted getting mail order if it is cheaper but afraid of all the pirate pharmacies out there that either aren't legit or don't do things properly and get themselves and their patients in trouble

I had to go to the ER this week (my doctor gone and doctor filling in was packed). I already have pain meds, and with my pain contract I can't accept any more from anyone else. So the ER doctor said to take 800mg of Ibuprofen with my pain med. I been taking 400mg instead. So far it's been helping.
How is your grandson? Our grandkids keep getting sick with all the stuff that's going around. Yesterday was the first day they were all together, so I hope no one made anyone else sick again LOL
Lol same here hopefully all tha sickness is gonna and wnt return lol I do use the ibphrofin in between but im just nt understandin why im the only 1 who has 2 be cut dwn and goin thru all this stuff when im followin all tha rules
I dnt go 2 the ER cuz I no they cant give me anything since I get from Dr.S and I wldnt risk being kicked off either

I always wonder why I have something new and different to add to my illness every week. I follow the rules and stuff just keeps happening to me LOL It's weird that they would cut you down when you do follow the rules. That doesn't seem fair.
I have posted several times in this discussion, without so much as a "hello", or any reply whatsoever. Guess I should not be surprised, but I am. Good luck to you all, and I sincerely hope you show more respect, compassion, and concern for other newcomers. To simply acknowledge a post for help is not asking much!
Rainbow, the Smiths are going to cut everyone's meds. Its not just u .The Dea is on him .
Cooky , the only clinic that helps with that med is a pay clinic CPR weatridge,180 month

Sorry, I always try to say at least hi to new people. I've been very sick lately and haven't been on. Sorry that you didn't have a good experience.
I know they are on them amella tells me every week do think they told ne no that no 1 else is being cut cuz of patients privacy??? Wendy me you go way back on here and thru some of the same drs as well I just feel like since I cant take tha long term pain med either they want 2 cut me or shove me off 2 make me someone elses problem
Me 2 lol rather its a cold broken wrist something how are you feelin now? I would like 2 speak 2 the dr that runs the smith see if he can help or answer other questions I have never seen him at the iffice ever just the smiths and I been goin there since august
Cooky sorry you feel that way I dnt get on here much myself unless its my day off or someone replies 2 anything I post but dont run off my girls here are really good ppl like wendy co susie mnt girl janey girl cindy and others but I do believe wendy has a list if tou are on medicaid cuz I am and mostly all tha pain management places dnt except medicaid and if they do they really dnt want u on pain meds they do natural alternatives. But most ppl on here do go 2 CPR. Again im sorry if I seem rude
Hey mac how are you?? You been quite lately everything ok you still with Dr s
Cooky... Not to be rude, but I haven't seen you post directly to our chat. Don't take it personally.... It's been the holidays AND people are dealing with personal issues. But, I can tell you that we are a helpful group of friends... And we do not take well to rudeness... Because there is no need.

The IRS is not going to be handling insurance. The IRS will be handling the taxation of the insurance benefit provided by employers. Since our i**** in chief decided that the amount the company pays toward our insurance is now considered taxable income and will show as such on tax forms.

My doctor in WA was in Stanwood. His name is Dr. Colombo. He is a great guy and actually takes time to get to know his patients. He is at The Everett Clinic in Stanwood. He will verify everything and try to find the best possible treatment....kind of like a doctor should.
Then trust me when you read the other post about Colorado pain relief! They care about your pain. Non- judgemental, and will give you WHAT WORKS FOR YOU??. Don't wait another day...trust me.
CPR USES mail pharmacy assured because of the level of high narcotics some are on .It's easier for the Dea to track and be legit .The prices are no different . Rainbow, I don't know unless they feel they can't help you at that level of care .If u stay on short term pills long term u risk destroying your liver. They may have to referre you to pain management Boulder Mapleton takes medicade
Wendy
I think you are right about "short" vs "long" term pain med. I took Percocet and it did wonderful for me, but after a certain amount of time, I had to move to oxy because Percocet isn't long term because of the liver damage.
Rainbow, may be they should try a low dosage of oxycodone like a 5mg or a 10mg instead of the Percocet. Ask them, because the liver damage may be exactly what they are worried about. Not that you did anything.
Janeygirl can u plz share the address so I can also write Obama. Thank you
Almost every doctor is doing this now. Rainbow your going to have to be on a long term med. If u keep refusing the Smiths can fire you. If u can't take other meds like oxycotin or morphine they can't keep you, your a liability. Rainbow, try fentanyl, Opana, giving u perks is a health risk. Pain management will offer u inj's. if u can't take long term meds.
