I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

You don't need to be going anywhere. You belong here on this site with all of us. You haven't done anything wrong and you don't deserve to have him insult you. It's now at the point for us to ignore jetmech2. We all tried to help him and he is obviously one of those people who can't be helped or supported. I thought about it last night, and decided that he has some serious mental issues, that none of us are qualified to help him with. It's a serious warning sign when someone is striking out at people that they don't know and who haven't done anything to them. Like JaneyGirl said, the positive is that he can't impact or hurt us. When or if he posts again, unless it is an apology, just skip over him and don't read his ridiculous insults.

All of us have asked him more than once what he is trying to accomplish here, but haven't received any sort of answer. I remember MtnGrl, you, Janey, Smalls, and many others reaching out to him, trying to figure out what he needs, so that we could support him. He doesn't want support from us, he doesn't want to be an accepted part of our group, and he doesn't want to attend any support group meetings. He has very serious problems and I'm glad our personal information isn't available to people like him. We all care about you and we want him to leave you alone. The only way I can see, is that when he posts, don't even read it.

I feel like JM is just sitting back, loving all the attention he is getting. I think we have reached the point of no return with him... And we should ignore him from now on. No more replies mentioning his name no matter what he says. He has proven his character and nothing he says is supportive or humble or anything but mean and ugly. GOODBYE JETMECH.

At no time have I called you...or anyone else on this site a seeker. I have said the word addict....and I stand by it... including myself. One cannot be on narcotic pain meds long term and not develop an addiction to them. As for not replying to questions people ask...including is simple. I have a life, I am busy and I do not have time to search through pages of garbage to find something addressed to me. As for your feelings and name calling....I don't really have 2 f***s to give. You don't have a clue who I am...or what I am about. I do more volunteering and donating of my time and money in a year than you ever will. I would guess that in 2013, I donated more cash than you earned. I also volunteer weeks of my time per year as a flight mechanic flying around with organizations like Angel Flight, going to pick up sick people all over the world and bring them to hospitals in the USA so they can be healed. So you go on with yourself and run your uneducated mouth....same goes for the rest of the flock of hens. I have offered advice...as well as real doctors names... instead of pill mills. I welcome the person who asked about back surgery to contact me directly. I can tell the name of the clinic that turned my 70 year old father from a cripple into a vibrant man again. And you mention the overweight issue..... do you know how much overweight I am? No you don't...and the number isn't very big. What is wrong with one of the knees is a defect....and is under recall. I just don't want to go through the surgery again until things are right for me.
By all means..... call names and talk all the trash you wish. I am sitting here in my nice house....with my nice things and laughing. Have a nice day!

Co susie janeygirl mnt girl once again thank you 4 standing up 4 me with jetmech2 it makes me feel good that you ladies are on my side...I have always been on this site 2 help ppl I have never put no one dwn or ever accused anyone of beenin a seeker nor have I ever bullied or put anyone dwn 4 who they are but im not goin 2 stay on here 4 anyone 2 put me dwn or bully I honestly wanted 2 help thats it anyway I cld but maybe I shld just leave this site that way there is no more issuse....

Jetmech2 or yea just 4 your info (information) im not a seeker never have been I shouldnt have to explain to you of why im on pain management but im not OVERWEIGHT either I have 3 bulging disks bone degenerative disk disease So bad im missing my last 2 vertebrates In my lower back because it so advanced I have sciatica so bad some days I can barely walk but since your so highly educated you must know what all that means..would you like me 2 send you my records as well just 4 your liking??? CO Susie, I can thoroughly understand Her paranoia and although I'm not sure he is Cookie, I may not always respond but I always read this group, I agree there is something seriously wrong here! The positive thing is that there is nothing he can do to us! I've been with this group since its infancy and am really happy where it is going! It's a true support group instead of a group to find out who gives the best meds! It's why I've been participating more! Both of the two of them, Cookie and Jetmech have some severe issues! And there r folks here that have far more information than most would realize! This frankly shouldn't b an issue unless someone is doing something wrong and of course a huge change over to a different group but in all honesty even that was understandable because they took insurance! I tend to b a very protective person and been in the medical profession for over 30 years and tend not to hold my tongue when I c wrong and mostly c people that don't treat people right! They don't teach doc's pain management in medical school and this is a true disservice to many! Just know I have your guys backs and make no jokes about this, many pain management folks know of this site and there isn't anything they can do about it! Won't stop me from opening my big mouth and I am here for all!

So good to hear from you. Hope your holiday season was good. I'm counting on 2015 being a much better year for me (and others), than 2014 was. Seems that several of us developed more health issues during 2014, but as always, we seem to have made progress in dealing with the issues.
My mother used to say that God gives you nothing that you can't deal with, because he has already provided you with the strength and knowledge, you just need to use it.
Please don't stay away so long, we miss hearing from you :)

I was discussing with rainbowflowers that I (not being paranoid) was questioning if people like Cookie were actually one person, perhaps the same someone who caused all the chaos back in the fall. On here and at the clinic. Rainbow was telling me that she doesn't feel comfortable talking with people now, unless it's someone that she knows who it is. I was very clear that I was not saying that jetmech2 is that person, nor was I implying it. Rainbow said she isn't sure who anyone is anymore, including jetmech2, and that being uncertain impacts her comfort zone. He being as negative as he is, and who reads into things, hopped right on her comment ignoring the complete gist of our conversation. He doesn't seem to comprehend what he reads. He takes things out of context.
For instance, there was a conversation about the DEA, he was going on about how none of us has insider DEA info on any investigation, how stupid the people having the conversation are, misinformed, ignorant, blah, blah, blah. No one had said that they had insider info. No one said the information they were discussing came from any DEA personnel, the information came from the person (facility) being investigated. That was pointed out to him, and we get complete silence from him. Not a sorry, misunderstood, nothing. It seems as if when he's being negative with no fact, and he's called on it, we get silence.
Hence, my comment to him about developing some backbone and honesty.
What's that saying about "no good deed, goes unpunished"? LOL

Hey gang! It's been since November since my last post. I read every few days but responding comes only when I feel I have to or my hands are doing okay. Today is a have to...

Jet, simmer down. Chronic illness/pain knows no color, income level, or age. As a native american I do think it's racist to claim Mexicans are the ones that get the drugs in Pueblo. Most of the latinos you meet aren't even from Mexico. Can we just drop race? Secondly I'll be honest rainbow uses text short hand and I have a hard time reading posts sometimes, but you know what...I'll live. She's helpful, kind, sincere and when she's asking for help she's grateful. When you come into a group like this you're going to run across all kinds of people. Having a degree means nothing IMO. How you treat people does.

Moving on, whomever mentioned Dr. Clapp, I agree. I like him a lot. He doesn't do suboxone so I stopped seeing him. He's like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory only sweeter, just don't steal his pen...he orders them special lol.

As for the nurse prac. in Aurora...I started seeing the doctor there. It's a long story but after 20 years with my PCP I had it with him and went to that doctor to see what he may offer. Only after we agreed that working together (no pain management) did I see the Mrs. and I've never seen the Mr. I did however speak with her and I liked her a lot. She asked me where I heard of them. I said "an online support group months ago, but then my pcp pulled a s***ty and I looked you guys up". It could be me that set off the questions, but I don't see them for pain meds at all. I did talk to my dad about it and he made a good point, this site is for that and based on their office it's not like they're advertising high end cosmetics...It's a clinic and if it were never mentioned here, they'd still get a blast of people. Doctors just don't have walk ins welcome. I was very concerned about the place until I spent time with the Dr and the Mrs. My point is, answer questions, be honest, that's not a reason to release you. They aren't set up normally and that alone can cause problems with the DEA.

As for how everyone feels...gosh I hope 2015 is better for all of us!! For me, my newest last hope treatment has failed so I'm going to ask to try my first treatment again now that maybe I can get a double dose since the single dose wasn't quite enough. My pain doctor went out on emergency leave and then quit, just quit. So I'm in the process of making sure the people I put together in his absence will keep me, especially my suboxone guy. He's smart and amazing, and doesn't do pain lol. We'll see. The good news is that with the changes I've lowered some of my doses. The higher levels weren't helping with the pain anyway. Now only if I can get off or down to very little prednisone, or as I like to call them, my autism pills. I swear I become autistic on them and I now understand the frustration.

Alas those of you that have my info, feel free to get in touch. I have a new list of doctors but I'm not going to post it this time. Psych and butron docs. Just ask and I'll get you info. If you want to request my info go through the admins on the board.

Well, I guess you could tell, I'm finally fed up LOL. Hens !! And the continually picking on rainbowflowers who hasn't done a thing to him. We all know that racist comments do nothing but confirm a person's ignorance.
Like I said before, when jetmech2 is questioned on where he's gotten information that even suggests we are drug seekers, there's no response from him. He has ignored me every time I've questioned a comment of his on any subject, which suggests to me that he knows he's wrong and doesn't have the backbone or honesty to admit it. The constant implied insults are beyond comment and I apologize again for encouraging him to give the forum a chance, that he could perhaps benefit from it. He's now moved from implied insults to flat out picking on rainbowflowers.
I wasn't aware that we needed to submit our resume in order to participate in this forum. If submitting my resume is a requirement then I will decline to participate LOL.

If u r doing so well then I question why u r even on this thread! Yes! Being over weight does cause problems with knees and perhaps this is why you need yet another!
I can't understand why u r on this thread since u seem to know everything! Many of us work. Some two jobs. Have families we take care of and a home to deal with!Yet, you continually attack this group like we just lay on the couch and take our meds and u r the only one who does anything!
Attacking people, being racist and generally nasty makes me question you and what u want to accomplish! All u do is put folks down and attack people! I've yet to hear a positive statement or even a question! All u talk about is how wonderful u are and that I can use a dictionary and thesaurus! Many of us r college grads and can easily use them, as well as our brains!
Stop attacking these good people! They have enough on their minds and don't need to add your issues to them! STOP!!!

You again are right ! Surgery isn't the right answer for a lot of people. There is no surgery available that will "fix" me.
The ridiculous comments being made by jetmech2 are starting to get a little old. As I told him, he's doing a lot of assuming about people, and all of it is negative. I am wondering if he ever assumes anything positive. Now we are "hens", that are uninformed and misinformed LOL. And again, which seems to be his "style", no details on what "facts" he's basing this on.
So that there is no misunderstanding, the latest ridiculous comments I am referring to are, Pueblo residents are all Mexican or Indian, calling people "drug seekers" with no fact, and now calling people "hens". Today he was insulting to rainbowflowers again. An older comment that he still needs to "man up" and apologize for is the remark about convenience store employees.

You have a lot of nerve insulting anyone's spelling, when obviously your ability to comprehend what you read is questionable. On more than one occasion you have misread, read into, or completely misunderstood what was written. Again you owe an apology. Rainbowflowers isn't the cause of whatever ails you, stop insulting her.
If you are going to judge and insult others, perhaps you should work on developing enough backbone and honesty to admit it when you are wrong.
This forum isn't for you to vent your frustrations by insulting others. This forum is for people to share information and to provide support and understanding. You initially were using implied insults and when that didn't receive enough reaction, you went to "flat out" insulting remarks directed at individuals. You are reminding me of a child that would rather get a spanking than be ignored.
FYI, just because your opinion is different that someone else's, it does not make them stupid, misinformed, or misguided. You were given the respect of having your opinion and that same respect should be given by you to others.

Jetmech... I did say that my dr suggested surgery... If you have knowledge that surgeries go well, specifically si joint fusions, I would really love to hear it... And I'm not bring sarcastic or rude... Completely sincere. I would love to hear that a surgery could make me pain free and I could get on with my life!!

See there you go again. What in the world has given you the idea that no one is seeking alternatives to medications? Many of us are using alternative methods and see our doctors regularly looking for new "state of the art" treatment. Many of us follow websites like the Mayo Clinic, watching for new treatments for our conditions. You are assuming without any fact a great deal about people, the amazing part is that it's all negative. Do you ever assume anything positive?
I was very clear in my post that I was not referring to you nor implying that it was you, using different names. I stated that very clearly.

jetmech2, has it ever occured to you that there are some things that cannot be fix by one slice of the knife? There are people that have things wrong with them that can not be seen by just looking at them only with x-rays , mir,s ,catscans and other test can anyone see what may be their illness or injury. I,ve walked into many dr,s office looking like I have nothing wrong with me and I have had three disc removed , fused together with 8 screws and two rods in my low back and a hernia repair all done at same time. And to have the drs tell me I should need the pain meds I,m on is nuts. So you shouldn't be passing judgement on anyone on this forum or talking about their spelling! Maybe its you who should get a life!!! Your knees probably hurt because you are over weight sounds like you need alittle physical therapy so you knees wont have to try to hold up all that weight. Good for your dad for having the back surgery but at 70 and he has been in pain for 20 yrs maybe he should have had that done 20 yrs ago and then he could have had a better life during that time. I had mine done in 1994 so have been dealing with some of the things that many are going through on this forum. It sucks to go through any kind of bullst that anyone on here has to do to gat pain meds. So pull your haed out of your behind and dont pass judgement on any one until you know what is wrong with them. Should people with mental health issues not be given meds because you can't see them limp or us a cane. Think not!
