Hi,
My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

RippedoffinSouthPhilly is a liar!!!!!! I am RC South Philly and have spoke to many of you on the phone and gave you Dr. Info. Darin "Rippedoff" is the lying junkie. I was never at his place. Think about it guys, how the hell would I get out with a playstation??? I am not a junkie so for those of u who responded and said I was obviously a junkie, youre dead wrong.....The real version is that he called me and asked for Dr Info which I provided....Then gave me a sob story about just moving here and needing meds and a new dr. He worked his way around to asking if I could get them off the street. We learned we lived a few blocks apart so we met in the middle. I allowed him to hold my wallet as good faith bc I didnt have the cash on me to cover what the junkie wanted to purchase off the street....I returned to him with his pills, had him count them and all was fine or so I thought. I realized when I got home that a $100 Visa gift card was missing from my wallet so I then called Darin and acted as if I didnt notice the missing gift card and asked if he wanted to put up $100 bucks towards a script I had to get filled (legit from my Dr.) And in exchange I would see him the next day with 30 pills....he met me and I regained the $100 from my stolen gift card!!! Like I said, think about it, who would leave a person they met online on a pill forum alone in their house or unattended. I have spoken to and helped many of you on here. The dude is a liar and a junkie and the reason why people with legit pain issues cannot get meds....Lol hes a clown hoping someone will feel bad like I did and give him pain meds so that he can abuse them...And for those of you that I have helped and spoke to at length, was money ever mentioned? Were any of you ever ripped off? Try rehab Darin!

Hey everyone..In the first place for anynof you who were cut off by their octors for no good reason, I would turn him/her into the Medical board. Unless your doctor tapered you down B4 cutting you off or gave you the name of a Pain mangent doctor the he is over steping his authroty and harming you in the process. It is rare but people have died from opiate withdrawls..Now for the people who just cant find a doctor it may mean you need to find a pain managnt doctor..PCP"s can only give opiated for acute pain..Ad believe me when I tell you that people who abuse drugs arent hurting your chances for getting opiates..Most addicts started out with real chrinic pain Doctors know who the abusers are and they will send them to a methadone clinic or to a suboxone doctor..If your doctor says he or she is going to treat your pain with suboxone find someone else, suboxone is the worst painkiller they have. I hope you all find a good PM doctor, I know how you all feel, I am in pain 24/7

I know her first name is Robyn and I think she lives somewhere on Colorado St in South Philly. She changed her number, so the one she posted earlier in this thread is dead now.

Thanks alot Mr.Help I went to the doctor yesterday and there helping me get insurance. They told me my hernia is the worst they ever seen and they wrote me a script for surgery and x- rays for my shoulders. But told me no pain meds cause they don't want me to mask the pain in case I should be going to the hospital if the hernia stays steady pain so they want me to feel it. But anyway thanks for the reply!

Mr Help, what about the ER? Do they do MRI? Within the past few days, my pain has increased a lot. I Also go numb on my right arm to my fingertips. My hands also involuntarily open up and I drop things. Also on my really bad days(not that I ever have good days) I get extreme migraine and I also throw up from the pain. All of that happen like a few times a month to recently almost daily. So I was thinking about going to the ER and maybe they can do MRI. In the meantime until I can see Dr Wean or find another Dr I need to figure something out. If anyone knows a dr does not want to make it public my email is xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}

Haverford mri its right off west chester pike in havertown. Just call and make a appointment since you don't have insurence Donavan its going to cost you anywhere from 500 to 800. But if ur legit in pain and need help its worth every penny. I dont have insurence either but you gotta do what you gotta do. Doctors need this paperwork to back them up. DEA is constantly checking up on pain management doctors considering that the pills on the steet are from doctors writing scripts. So its up to you what you wanna do Donavan but I would do it if I were you.

It sounds like some of you are having to prove to a doctor that you have a condition requiring pain meds. If you have been to a doctor get a copy of your records. All doctors are suspicious of new clients who want pain meds.

And this is to always working..if you don't have mri or injury report n progress report the doctor is going to call you a drug seeker and laugh at you! This day in age with all this s*** going on with pain killers and the dea the doctor has to follow very strict rules so he doesn't end up in chains and doing a 5 to 10 year bid! Trust me just go to ur family doctor tell him about ur pain then get a mri and once u go to ur family doctor he will tell u to go to a specialist who well check u out then write a injury report and once ur done that have him write u a referrl to see a pain management doctor! Its not a easy process it will take time.

Hi I'm a contractor and have been for 20 years but I dont have insurance. My wife wants me to talk to a doctor about getting some kind of pain management. I dont have MRI's but I do have two bulging hernia's,bad shoulders, back and knees. But never been to a doctor. I have 4 kids from 8 yo to 15 months old so I can't afford to miss a day of work but the pain is unbearable at times. Does anyone know a doctor taking new patients in south Philly or so jersey area that will understand my dilemma? Thanks !

you can see a Dr. Glenn Miller in South Philadelphia. just get a series of 3 back injections over a 1 yr period does not hurt at all. then presto you will get narcotics for the rest of your life no questions asked. indeed robert mosher PA actually does all the writing. good luck. if that fails see dr.Mark Mattozzo who will gladly write 4 u & everyone in your family

Mr Help, a happy Thanksgiving! I called the office and she told me what to do. And you are a lot of help through this all. I am going to call my dr and my attorney to get all of my info to dr wean. I like that I am going to go into the office and not he surrounded by junkies like you see in a lot of dr offices. That's important to me to goto someone who cares.
