Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia (Page 3)

Updated

Hi,

My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

Where I live some people travel to Mexico and get a prescription there. They can then get pain meds from a pharmacy there.IZKM

As I said before Google {edited for privacy} and I'll help you all with legitimate doctors; I am not going to post any doctor's name here. I'll be playing at Legendary Dobbs tomorrow night, after 10 P.M., 3rd & South, Philly.

If You read this then don't be stupid, look Me up and call or text Me, or come meet Me in person at Dobbs. It's up to You to use Your brain!

You might even like the show and become a fan!

It has come down to challenging the legality and the Constitutionality of DEA policy, regulations, and operatios. Once thses do-gooders are exoosed for the porkbarrel patronage fat that they are, an Amendment should be introduced forbidding them from the Illegal Search procedures of monitoring drug prescriptions. They can't catch the real drug dealers, so, to justify keeping their jobs & pensions the fabricate cases against legitimate doctors. Time for everyone to get ahold of all of their senators (state & US) Congressmen, Representative, and write them all and the President. Do it before they try to take more of Your right to be treated for pain away.

Hi, I live in the Philadelphia area and am looking for information on doctors or pain management clinics that prescribe percocet. I have had hip and knee surgery and a broken finger that was not treated properly by my doctor and as time went on it is painful to do any work with my hands I'm in the construction business and as of late taking aleve has not been sufficient in allowing me to be able to work comfortably enough to finish a day and has been costing me money in the long run. If anyone has any info on a good place to go for treatment and medication it would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure how to give or receive email addresses on the board. Do you have the name of a treatment facility or doctor that has been helpful to you? The doctor who treated my hand is always very short and dismissive. My finger is bent on a 90 degree angle and sends pain throughout my hand and wrist after only a few hours of work. I do exercises with a duraflex ball and different stretches that have been recommended but nothing seems to be able to get me through a day or week consistently without unbearable pain. Will go to see a hand specialist but then I have the hip and knee pain to boot. Trying to avoid changing lines of work because this is all I know and have had a pretty successful contracting business that I would like to maintain.

I am in a tough situation. I moved here recently and travel 2 hours to go to my doctor. I had neck surgery a few years ago and still effects my life. I am looking for a doctor who will write a prescription. Anywhere I have tried calling I could not even get into the office for a visit. I get turned down on the phone after explaining my situation. I am in the Bensalem area. Is there anyone with suggestions??

Hi, I am in a situation where I recently moved to the Bensalem area and looking for a doctor. I have had neck surgery in the past and still have major issues. My Dr is 2 hours away and am looking for some one locally to this area. Any Dr i call is either not accepting new patients or when I tell them about my surgery I get turned away right away before I can make an appt. Not everyone abuses medicine, but the people who need it get screwed. Can anyone help?

Rob, if you don't mind me asking how do you get prescriptions for those? It's near impossible to get a doctor around here to prescribe anything for pain.
