Doctors Who Prescribe Oxycontin In Oklahoma (Page 5) (Top voted first)

I have been in Pain management since 2004 in California and just Moved out there to muskogee Oklahoma... unfortunately there are NO doctors here willing to treat my pain i was on a regiment of 80mg Oxycontin 2X daily 10/325mg Norcos every 4 hours and 4mg IV dilaudid as needed for breakthrough pain... i am in search of a doctor out this way who is actualluy willing to perscribe these meds... thanks

Hi. I'm Looking for a doc too who'll prescribe my ms contin & oxycodone who's not a pain management doc. I've seen one and they don't treat you right, treat your problems and are just another number. I know you're far away but Dr. Mackey in Edmond is the BEST pain management doc in the state. He'll give you your meds plus oxycodone for bt pain. You get random drug panels, not every visit. His PA is fabulous as well. He treats you so good, takes him time talking with you to see how you feel, how the meds are working, if you're sleeping and so on. You need your PC doc to refer you but the wait is not long, 2 weeks Max. Good luck

I just relocated here from Dallas Texas and cannot find a physician to prescribe me Norco near McAlester oklahoma which I've taken since a bad wreck that crushed hip and knees

I read your post about this doctor and it gives me great hope I might be able to lift my 7 month old baby again. I'm living with a broken back that refuses to heal after over 3 years plus failed surgery and other issues. I'm to the point that life is getting to be too hard to handle with this severe and constant pain. I'm barely getting any help at all for my pain despite 7 mris and cat scans and numerous reports about my painful condition. I really hope he can help me so I can play woth my baby like a normal person without crying in pain. Do you know if I ned my primary doctor to refer him or can I just make an appointment with him? Thanks so much!

At 34 years old I have already had one back surgery. Now I have two more herniated discs, failed back syndrome, osteoarthritis that has seen to have spread throughout every joint in my body. I "live" in so much pain day to day and I Just want a dr that is most concerned with my quality of life.

Most places you will need to take a copy of your MRI that shows the pain. If you can get that I bet your on the road to feeling better. Good luck

I am 34 years old and have severe chronic pain. I had my first back surgery when I was 30. I have recently had an MRI that came back showing osteoarthritis, failed back syndrome, severe spinal stenosis, herniated disc, and damage to my sciatic nerve... And more. My dr has been treating me with the same dose of pain medication for over a year and I have built a tolerance and my back is getting much worse but he will not up my meds. It is getting to the point that I can not put surgery off much longer but until I can find and train a replacement at my work I need a dr that will help improve my quality of life.
