I have been in Pain management since 2004 in California and just Moved out there to muskogee Oklahoma... unfortunately there are NO doctors here willing to treat my pain i was on a regiment of 80mg Oxycontin 2X daily 10/325mg Norcos every 4 hours and 4mg IV dilaudid as needed for breakthrough pain... i am in search of a doctor out this way who is actualluy willing to perscribe these meds... thanks

Oh how I understand. He fired me because the red haired lady who owns the place heard me talking to another patient about the nurse being mad at me. Long story. Anyway he didn't tell me I was fired and wouldn't I had to go up there THREE weeks later which left me no time to get into another dr so I had to go to methadone clinic cuz I was taking 3 oxycotin 60mg and five oxycodone a day. Now I'm taking myself off the done by 5 mgs a day cuz my surgeon said I had TOO much damage in my back to operate and I had BONE ON bone in all my lumbar. So their referring me to a new pm clinic in okc. Does anyone know anything about dr.Nouh in advanced pain management clinic in okc? Thank GOD the surgeon did give me an rx till my appOintment which makes it easier to get off this stupid methadone. Thank GOD I was only on it for four weeks. Already gone dub 24 mgs in a week down to 31 gonna wrap it up this week. . Wish me luck

Hi. I don't know your personal circumstances, but if the doctor is suggesting surgery that may help, why don't you give it a try? If it doesn't work. that's a shame, but if my doctor suggested surgery that might work - I'd jump at the chance. He may be reluctant to prescribe you the meds you want if your not willing to take his advice. Maybe if you agreed to the surgery he'd prescribe the meds until you had the operation?

I have been seeing a primary care doc at first he gave them to me but he sent me to a pain mgt doc and meds he gave me to take was a fyntenol patch and tizantin I had already was one alaprozolam1mg and 4 different blood pressure meds because with stress and pain cant sleep sometimes didnt even want to eat ended up with sore throat and swelling of lips, toungue and ended in er so the pain management doc fired me because ua came up clean and when I tried to explain he just rambled and I wasnt going to argue,,,,I know the stereotype that goes with being on these meds for long periods but unless they could guarantee surgery would help I dont want atleast with pain meds I am more able to function on normal basis. I went back to primary care and gave him copy of old mri I have hemangiola ceveral bulging disc anda syrinx others I cant prononce oteo arthristis and in constant pain now I need a new pain management Dr who can get me in right away Primary Care is requestin new mri but I still dont want surger....I live I Moore Ok and need one that takes Sooner care (medicaid) Old pain dr was Harvery Jenkins and he fired me because of clean urine and wouldnt listen to me about mr er visit for allergic reaction of lip, toungue and throat sweeling I have been in approx 4 major car accident 2 were from 18 wheeler hitting me in right front of drivers doors I have been hit hard on freeway from behind by drunk driver on freeway immediately knocked unconcious truck flipped end of end twice and landed on passenger side blocking 4 lanes of trafic when a came too passer bys were trying to get me out of passenger window climbe down undercarriage of truck....basically the pain meds help me to lead a more productive life and I have to keep moving because I have 3 boys 18,17 and 12 Please help because they are strict about prescribing and I know my body

Im not sure my pain management Doctor will be around much longer...Im looking for a new one that takes SoonerCare and will give me what Im currently taking... ocycodone 30 mg ×4 a day and percocet 10/325 × 4 a day. I have lupus degenerative disc and arthritis... need knee replacement.....

im looking for a pain management dr in okc area as well, 10+hx of degenerative disc disease, stenosis, 3 failed back surg and spinal cord stimulator. currently taking ms contin 30mg 4x/day, x 5yrs and its well controlled with this dose. my husband just changed jobs, and now my new insurance wont cover my pain management dr. we cant afford private pay, so i need a new dr that will continue current treatment! please, if anyone has ideas, please let me know. I know jenkins and jackson are not on my insurance.

My doctor is stopping writing pain scripts in a month. I need a doc that will write for me 10mg norcos, 6 a day for buldging disc and arthitis in my lumbar spine.Possibly something stronger if possible as the norcos just don't cut the pain unless I take 3 at a time. And I also take fiorcet 6 times a day for migraines, as well as 4 zanaflex daily for my back. I also would like some xanax as i have a very high stress job and have some anger issues that come with it and the lexapro my doc gives me doesn't cut it. If anyone has a doc or clinic in the general OKC area that can help please do so.

It is me, again. I was just sent an email from Forbes magazine about an article about people on disability, etc.! It is written by a jerk who doesn't suffer as we all do. I am going to write this jerk and hope you will too, telling him off. It's people like this man who is causing all this trouble for us all. Not only the DEA and FDA but so many others. This is why I wrote the petition and am trying to get help for us all, so we will be heard, understood and our pain managed better, as before. Now, they are trying to take away our disability from us too. This man makes fun of people who claim spinal problems. I am very, very angry at this man and others.
I hope you will click on this link and read this, I hope you will write an angry rebuttal to him, as well. We don't need harmful reporting, biased reporting from a non chronic pain person. Someone who won't have the pain, we are all experience!
