Doctors Who Prescribe Adderall In Birmingham, Alabama

I'm a 26 year old male. I think I'm am suffering from ADD. I have a hard time focusing on things, my mind goes from one thing to another, and I have a hard time paying attention and holding conversations. I'm a.a mechanic at a car dealership and it is starting to affect my job performance and problems at work. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any doctors in the Birmingham Alabama metro area who treat adult ADD or who prescribe adderall. My fiance, who is in med.school suffers from the same thing and she is prescribed adderall and it has really helped her. Can anyone please give me some suggestions? Please?

There are plenty of doctors all over that treat adult ADHD, but I don't think anyone can promise that any certain doctor will or will not prescribe you any certain medication.

You best bet to get a proper diagnosis and treatment is to make an appointment with a Psychiatrist, but your insurance may require a referral from a primary care physician.

And the right choice for you may, or may not be Adderall. Just because it works well for your fiance, doesn't mean it will also work well for you. That's why there are different treatment options available.
