hello so heres my question i am looking for a new pain management doctor in either the 5 borrows or in new jersey that prescribe roxycodone/oxycodone 30mg i currently have a doctor in staten island who was prescribing me 45 roxys bi weekly then uped me to 60 30mg roxys bi weekly now he has me coming in every week and lowered me to 20mg oxycodone 30 a week i told him this is not enough for me but he dosent listen to anything anybody says also i have a job and work 5 days a week he wants me to come in every friday but i cant because of work but when i tell him i cant come in every week because i have work let me come on a day i have off im going to loose my job he ignores me and just says its ok just come next week like im just some jerk off i also told him the 20s are not enough its not working im still in pain again he ignores me and says its ok just come in next week this guy does care he wants me to come in every week cause hes banking my insurance out with these weekly visits i never heard of any doctors prescibing this medication weekly or bi weekly almost every doctor does monthly visits... so what i need is a new doctor that is willing to prescribe me 30mg roxys and thats not going to judge me or just try to give me some other type of medication because i litterley have tryed every pain meds known to man and this is the only thing that acually works. i was in a bad car accident in 2008 and i have a slipped disk 3 buldging disks and a herniated disk in my lower back and with my job im on my feet all day long so my pain has got so much worse since then i cant stand longer then 2 hours at a time because mt whole back just starts locking up and the pain is there for hours even when i take my meds it takes a while to go away it sucks.. so another problem of me finding a new doc is because i am only 22 and most doctors are not willing to prescribe someone my age this medication so i need a doctor that will give me what i need without judgement and without trying to give me non narcotic pain meds or very low dose pain meds because there not going to workand i dont even want to waste my time and my insurances money. i am willing to travel to any of the 5 borrows, long island and even jersey as long as i can get a monthly script ill even do bi weekly but i cant do this with my current doctor i have an appointment friday and i dont feel like loosing a half day of work for 30 20mg oxys thats going to be finished in 3 days its not even worth it anymore i tryed talking to my doctor but dont listen to s*** that i say and it gets me really annoyed so please if anybody can help me with a new doc you dont know how much that would help thank you very very much any answers are greatly appreciated..thanks

I'll try the others when my benefits kick back in, hopefully by May.

Do any of the insurance docs you listed prescribe 30mg? If not, 15's definitely are better than nothing. An allege and a 15mg at least keeps me active.

The cash doc doctor you mentioned who doesn't do 30mg's, do I just need my MRI's or will I need to print my prescribing history, etc?

I forgot you wanted cash dr. Only one I know of is on rahway ave. In Woodbridge, nj it's listed under dr. David aiden. I went there 3x and they would only give me 3 15s a day and 2 40mg oxycontin which I only got cause I was on them for years. Now I can't get an extended release.

University pain management in somerset, and monroe nj. Union anathesia on rt. 34 in old bridge, and union. They tell you they only do injections but not true. Dr. Siddiqui in matawan nj, dr george mendez I think on park avenue in edison, he took over most of dr patharkars patients. Alan Weinstein in old bridge but don't know if he is taking new patients? And fyi, on march 15th 2016 the dea made it clear to all pain mngmt. Drs. They are not supposed to prescribe 30mg at all only if person is terminally ill or has cancer. I was on them for 10yrs and lost my dr. And now cannot get 30mg anywhere. I had to ask for 20mg. They are all prescribing mostly morphine and vicoprofen and if you keep getting turned down even with overwhelming proof of injury like myself, one dr. Was kind enough to tell me. Why. The drs. Were also instructed not to take any patients that are on any benzodiazepine such as xanax, ativan, etc....hope I helped somewhat? And injections are now mandatory.

Hi all! I'm a little, or say very confused about this site. I always see ppl asking for Dr. Names but never see any any Dr. Names or info given? Where are the answers posted? I must not be understanding how to navigate on here? If someone will help me understand how to see replies I live in central nj and know of some places, but most of them have battened down the hatches a bit so to say! I have only had one person help me on here and I didn't forget about you! Just been busy with some personal issues, but I will message you tomorrow!

I am looking for dr in New York City for spouse. He is post opp from orthopedic surgery and needs another. His surgeon only wrote medication for first two weeks. Wish I would have known before surgery. He can't have nerve block because of blood thinners. I really don't understand all of this. It is inhuman to be healing from major surgery and taking acetaminophen Went to 2 pain dr that wanted to do nerve blocks and have him risk paralysis because of blood thinner interaction. He is in so much pain he is considering. No way
Please if you know of a normal dr please please pass name on.

Kevin. With an open comp claim you should be able to get a pain management doctor appointment asap through your lawyer. Your lawyer should file a motion for treatment which includes medication and a doctor they will approve. I hope your getting your weekly temporary benefits at least.

Kevin Im a legit responsible pain med user after botched cancer surgery on low dose but Dr retiring soon and can't find doctors taking "new" pts. Can u share name or phone/ or even just address and I can figure out.JC area

I need legitimate HELP!

I'm not going to pitch some sob story of desperation. Long story short, I'm a union carpenter and we need to maintain X amount of hours to keep our benefits package active. When I was hurt last year, my shop rejected the claim and now I've been out of work pending the active worker's compensation legal case I have.

Due to this, I obviously didn't have any work hours to keep my benefits active and I just lost my prescription coverage on January 1st, 2017. My previous pain management doc refused to take clients who don't have a prescription, even though he saw me for TWO years straight.

I've got 2 herniations, a bulging disc and a spinal fusion in my C-spine across three discs. I'm in serious pain and can't stand for more than 20 minutes without my pain meds before my back is on FIRE.

If anyone knows a doc that takes cash and isn't going to make me run 23983 circles, please hit me with a name in the central/north jersey area, please. Preferably a doc who will write for 30mg or at least 15mg. At this point I don't even care if they wrote small quantity like 30-60, I'd rather make them stretch than be in complete pain 24/7.

Could u please provide dr info. Trying to find a pain dr for hubby is is a few weeks post surgical. All want to do Neve block despite fact he is on blood thinner, combined could result in paralysis This is absurd

John, try INNOVATIVE PAIN CENTER/ 415 Avenel Ave. P.S. they might have changed the name, but the results are still the same. It's run by husband wife. Wife's name is Dr. Asma Siddiqui. She was was the pain management doctor.

Candy, please help. My wife broke her back 15 years ago. She has so much metal screwed to her spine the only way she can function is with medication. Her last dr was shut down and every where I take her they want to stick needles in her spine. She tried it once and will never do it again. If you could share with me the dr's name in Edison or union I would greatly appreciate it. Her quality of life is deteriorating.

Please send me doc details as well. Been on oxycodone for 6 years for back pain but my doc retired and i'm having a hard time finding a new doc. I'm a responsible user of the meds, just need a new doc who won't hassle me. I have all supporting documents and MRIs. Please reply asap.

Hi, your words hit the nail right on the head! I suffer greatly everyday so much I can't even take care of my cat. I too was lowered to barely nothing! I hate the dea and what they have done. I believe if you have the mri and proof of your sufferings we have a right to live pain free without wishing for god to end it already.
