Doctors In New York Or New Jersey That Prescribe Roxicodone 30mg (Page 20)

hello so heres my question i am looking for a new pain management doctor in either the 5 borrows or in new jersey that prescribe roxycodone/oxycodone 30mg i currently have a doctor in staten island who was prescribing me 45 roxys bi weekly then uped me to 60 30mg roxys bi weekly now he has me coming in every week and lowered me to 20mg oxycodone 30 a week i told him this is not enough for me but he dosent listen to anything anybody says also i have a job and work 5 days a week he wants me to come in every friday but i cant because of work but when i tell him i cant come in every week because i have work let me come on a day i have off im going to loose my job he ignores me and just says its ok just come next week like im just some jerk off i also told him the 20s are not enough its not working im still in pain again he ignores me and says its ok just come in next week this guy does care he wants me to come in every week cause hes banking my insurance out with these weekly visits i never heard of any doctors prescibing this medication weekly or bi weekly almost every doctor does monthly visits... so what i need is a new doctor that is willing to prescribe me 30mg roxys and thats not going to judge me or just try to give me some other type of medication because i litterley have tryed every pain meds known to man and this is the only thing that acually works. i was in a bad car accident in 2008 and i have a slipped disk 3 buldging disks and a herniated disk in my lower back and with my job im on my feet all day long so my pain has got so much worse since then i cant stand longer then 2 hours at a time because mt whole back just starts locking up and the pain is there for hours even when i take my meds it takes a while to go away it sucks.. so another problem of me finding a new doc is because i am only 22 and most doctors are not willing to prescribe someone my age this medication so i need a doctor that will give me what i need without judgement and without trying to give me non narcotic pain meds or very low dose pain meds because there not going to workand i dont even want to waste my time and my insurances money. i am willing to travel to any of the 5 borrows, long island and even jersey as long as i can get a monthly script ill even do bi weekly but i cant do this with my current doctor i have an appointment friday and i dont feel like loosing a half day of work for 30 20mg oxys thats going to be finished in 3 days its not even worth it anymore i tryed talking to my doctor but dont listen to s*** that i say and it gets me really annoyed so please if anybody can help me with a new doc you dont know how much that would help thank you very very much any answers are greatly appreciated..thanks

For the guy looking for someone in 5 borrorrows my old pain management doctor was great in Staten Island! I say that cause he was prescribing ms contin 100 4 a day ,klonopin 1 mg 4 X daily ,opana 10 mg 4 X day ,275 mg Lyrica 3 X a day and Tizanidine 4 mg 2 tabs 4 X a day. I ended up in the hospital a couple of months ago and they decided I was on too much meds and scared him cause when I went to him he had lowered my meds way down and none of some but that was me as I don't know what they said to him but I don't think u would have any problems! Now I should have accepted what he had lowered me to but I had questions and instead of his calm usual self he walked out saying he couldn't see me anymore ! So I'm having terrible problems finding another doctor and have been getting dribs and drabs in the last couple of months so I was in very bad car accident yrs ago where my boyfriend died and I crushed my pelvis ,knees ,leg that has rod in it and both ankles smashed with pins on both sides ! Of both ankles and now I have arthritis and herniated discs and bulging discs and some spinal stenosis too now so hopefully you can help me cause its been so hard and u r wished the best of luck too ! To itsme23 , I know a Dr Jorden Fersel in Cranford NJ if you're still needing someone! He will def help u ! Now I am in desperate need of someone as I had many broken bones and have arthritis now in my joints with pins in my knee and both ankles and a rod in my rt tibia and crushed my pelvis which has cahsed bad low back pain too and need someone in NJ ,central, north ,south ,will travel for liberal understanding doctor ! I'm so sorry about the fire u were in and I trust u so u don't need to show pics but I'm not sure where u were looking for a doctor, if its in NJ I know someone who can help or Staten island too if u still need help as I need some names in NJ or Manhattan or Staten island who is fairly liberal and compassionate and can help prescribe ms contin 60's or 100's about 180-240 a day and klonopin, Lyrica and SOMA or closest things to this that help me ! PhillyB, if you're still interested I know a doctor in Staten Island for you! I've been seeing a pain mngnt doctor for the past 10 yrs. One retired and the other became a problem but I'm sure the doctors I know would help u and others here!

Nucky2121 I have a doctor for you in Staten island NY who will definitely help you ! I am in chronic pain due to A severe motor vehicle accident I was in yrs ago where my boyfriend was killed and I received multiple injuries crushing my pelvis, pubic bone and knee with pins still and rod in rt tibia and pins and screws in both sides of both ankles ! My pelvis healed crooked and I have terrible pain in the tailbone coccyx area and arthritis set in my joints and for 3 months I have been looking for someone in all areas of NJ with very little luck ! I've never had such a problem finding someone to prescribe and had been seeing a couple of doctors over the past 12 yrs ,one retired and one I had some problems with but otherwise ive had no problem till now so if someone could possibly give me some names in NJ or Manhattan or Staten island ! Thanks and good luck to all ! I had been taking approx 200 mg MS Contin ,opana 10 mg 3x day and klonopin 3x day and Lyrica 200 3x day and zanaflex or SOMA ! I don't need as much ms contin and other things like methedone and xanax work and fentynal but will take someone who is compassionate and willing to help so I'm not constantly going up and down with withdrawal as I have been since August! Jaraden, I think I can help u with a doctor in Staten Island if you're still interested! I totally understand and am in chronic pain due to a serious car accident I was in. I've always had a good doctor but my last doctor and I had no problems until I ended up in the hospital in August for blood pressure problems that are fine now but at the time the hospital took it upon themselves to detox me way down and completely off some of the meds I was on which took awhile to get to the amount and combination that was working. and when I went back to my doctor I was given the very low dose of MS Contin the hospital put me down to 60 mg 2 X a day with only 75 mg Lyrica 2xa day and 3 zanaflex a day and 2 xanax 1 mg a day ! I had been getting ms contin 100 4 X day or 200 mg 2x a day but was only taking the 200 mg at bedtime with the dose of 275 mg Lyrica 3x a day and 3 10 mg opana a day and 3 1mg klonopin a day and he was very compassionate but after the hospital spoke to him, he listened to them about cutting me down so low in a matter of a week and when I questioned him he walked out and said he was sorry but couldn't treat me anymore which shocked me cause I didn't do anything wrong the whole time I was seeing him and had no problems but his nurse told my sister it wasn't my fault but the hospital had scared him about losing his license which I don't understand cause the pharmacy never had a problem with what he was giving me and always filled all my scripts? But now I've been having problems since September finding someone willing to give me enough or any meds at all ! I've NEVER HAD such a problem so if someone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it! I live in Monmouth county NJ but will travel to wherever in NJ or Manhattan or Staten Island if need be! I suffer daily and am in bed most days going in and out of withdrawal only on 60 mg ms contin 2x daily for the pain! It just isn't enough and its been 3 months and my body still isn't adjusted which it should be but it just doesn't hold me! I'm willing to go back on methedone like my previous doctor before had me on even as it does help for pain but would need more then 30 mg a day as I tried that with one DOCTOR but it didn't hold me either which is all he gave he said ! So I need someone who is compassionate and willing to work with my tolerance alot better then what I've been offered the last few months ! Dear PizzaGuy, I'm not sure if u still need a oxycodone doctor but I know a Dr Jorden Fersel in Cranford NJ will definitely prescribe you the pain medications, usually 3 or possibly 4 a day ! But its what u asked for and if u know anyone else in Jersey that would write like for other stuff like Dr Barry Sloan u wrote about ? Causs he isn't taking any new patients and I've never had a problem finding a doctor like I have sincd September now over 3 months ! All I've managed to get was 2 60 mg MS Contin a day and for 3 months its still not enough and I'm not getting used to it ! I really need like 4 a day or like 2 of the 100 mg ones or I'd even consider going back on a decent dose of methedone but this one DOCTOR only offered me 30 mg which I said I'd try but it wasn't enough to get me through the next day but he said he didn't go up higher ! I also take klonopin 1mg 3 a day and this doctor cut it to 2 a day with 200 mg Lyrica 3 a day and before I was on Lyrica 275 mg 3 X a day which was helping all together with 2 4 mg zanaflex 4x a day ! So I had the doctor that worked with me and got me up to these levels and that's why they have different doses of medications so I don't understand why these doctors r being so difficult! I have xrays and mri and hope PizzaGuy or someone could help me as I have some names in NJ and NY also besides Dr Fersel in Cranford NJ ! Good luck and God Bless!

Hi. I have struggled with neck/back pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, and premenstrual pain issues for several years. I have been to several doctors over the years and they have tried several different treatments, from physical therapy, to natural supplements, prescriptions, yoga, massage, etc. I know what medications work for me- Prozac and Klonopin daily and Norco or Percocet as needed for when I have bad days. I work on my feet and cause of the fibro it takes all my energy to work even Part time. I couldn't work for a while because of the pain and I've had to leave jobs because of it. My primary doesn't want to prescribe these meds, she wants me to see specialist. I am currently seeing a Fibro specialist in Northern NJ who only takes cash. He was $700 for 1st appoint. and $200 for 2nd. He prescribed the klonopin and prozac but is insisting on other medications that are not working. Plus he's already talking about me getting off the two meds I've been on for a better part of 3 years, which I do not want to do. I cannot afford to see him as it is. And he does not prescribe any pain meds. Since I have Horizon NJ Health it is hard to find a dr to treat my pain, esp. when I say it is fibro-related (although I have other issues as well). They only want to prescribe meds for short period of time or not at all. I am interested in seeing Dr. Weinstein since he does take my insurance and he treats pain. I am only 33 and I feel that doctors also don't want to prescribe pain meds because they say I'm too young. If I make an appoint with Dr. Weinstein do u think he will prescribe the Klonopin and Prozac and add in Norco or Percocet as needed for my bad days? Once you say fibro, some doctors try to throw you on Lyrica and all this stuff that has never worked for me before. I have taken Norco and Percocet in the past with success, but only for short periods of time because the doctors did not want to keep me on them for more than 2-3 months. I need a doctor who will prescribe pain meds, just as needed, and the other two meds I mentioned. What do I need to bring to my appointment or do/say to this doctor so he will understand? I am fine if I need to do a U/A or sign a contract. I just need relief long term instead of dealing with doctors who are unwilling to help for long periods of time and esp. my current dr. who is charging me an arm and a leg for minimal relief and already is talking about taking me off my two daily meds. Please, any input on my situation and how to approach my situation this doctor, would be greatly appreciated. It will be over an hour drive for me, but I'm willing to do it, if he takes Horizon NJ Health and will prescribe these meds long term and understand my situation, see that I've tried MANY different therapies and medications, and I know what works best for me. I appreciate your help.

I just sent in a post, my main problems are, spondylitis, steirol-stinous(wrong spelling), daul sciatica, neuropathy, major migraines,arthritis in right knee & a bad surgery, had spinal blocks, etc. Dr. Closed I'm in horrific pain & going thru withdrawal drawl. Need Help Yesterday. Live in Southern New Jersey, but will travel. I believe you have to stay in the state your in. I also don't have insurance right now. This couldn't have happened at a worst time. I live alone, and due to pinched nerves (forget name) I'm unable to walk more than a city block. At end of my rope.

Just a option ;herniated disks & bulging will usually heal themselves, I had several, don't do back surgery unless you have a excellent Dr. I had back surgery go bad, I have to walk like a robot & the longest I can walk is a block.

If you're still looking for a doctor in Staten island, i need the name of someone too, desperately as i was in a very bad car accident yrs ago and my boyfriend was killed and i have pins rods and screws in my leg, knees and ankles and broken pelvis and now have arthritis and have been looking since September 15th. So going on five or 6 months now and im going to this guy who is only giving me 2 60mg ms contin a day when I was used to taking 4 100mg ones a day. Not that i need that much but at least half and in the past have been on methadone, oxycodone all strengths and all others! You are absolutely right. When a patient visit a doctor and right off the back tell them what they need it sends up a reg flag. It's better hear the doctor treatment regime, and try it. You can go back to the doctor it it does not work. The only way to bypass this is if the doctor asked what have you taken before ad and what works for you.

Liz, One of Dr Weinstein's specialties is treating fibromyalgia. He is actually treating my wife for fibro amongst other things. As far as the Prozac, as long as you bring in a recent prescription bottle, he will continue it. Same goes for the klonopin but I know that he doesn't prescribe xanax anymore. As for the percocets, he started my wife on the 5/325's but quickly changed her to 10mg oxycodone and upped the strength every few months. He told me that he doesn't keep his patients on anything with acetaminophen in it long term because of the danger to your liver.
However, if your really just looking for mainly Prozac and klonopin and just some percs once in a while, I don't think you really need a pain management Dr and definitely not Dr Weinstein but good luck anyway.

Hi, why does it matter which pharmacy you use to get your script filled?? I know where Deviine pharmacy is. There is pain management facility on Avenel Street in ( I think it's zone as Colonia or Woodbridge). Anyway, she is extremely flexible.

Actually how about being a little more flexible w your doc and ask him if he would see u 2x month instead of ev Friday cuz of your job and we all love 30s for pain but i had same issue bro and i went fr 6 30s a day to 5 2os day and my doc died im now getting some sucka arse 10s and feel like garbage so consider urself lucky roll w those 20s you can adjust to them
