hello so heres my question i am looking for a new pain management doctor in either the 5 borrows or in new jersey that prescribe roxycodone/oxycodone 30mg i currently have a doctor in staten island who was prescribing me 45 roxys bi weekly then uped me to 60 30mg roxys bi weekly now he has me coming in every week and lowered me to 20mg oxycodone 30 a week i told him this is not enough for me but he dosent listen to anything anybody says also i have a job and work 5 days a week he wants me to come in every friday but i cant because of work but when i tell him i cant come in every week because i have work let me come on a day i have off im going to loose my job he ignores me and just says its ok just come next week like im just some jerk off i also told him the 20s are not enough its not working im still in pain again he ignores me and says its ok just come in next week this guy does care he wants me to come in every week cause hes banking my insurance out with these weekly visits i never heard of any doctors prescibing this medication weekly or bi weekly almost every doctor does monthly visits... so what i need is a new doctor that is willing to prescribe me 30mg roxys and thats not going to judge me or just try to give me some other type of medication because i litterley have tryed every pain meds known to man and this is the only thing that acually works. i was in a bad car accident in 2008 and i have a slipped disk 3 buldging disks and a herniated disk in my lower back and with my job im on my feet all day long so my pain has got so much worse since then i cant stand longer then 2 hours at a time because mt whole back just starts locking up and the pain is there for hours even when i take my meds it takes a while to go away it sucks.. so another problem of me finding a new doc is because i am only 22 and most doctors are not willing to prescribe someone my age this medication so i need a doctor that will give me what i need without judgement and without trying to give me non narcotic pain meds or very low dose pain meds because there not going to workand i dont even want to waste my time and my insurances money. i am willing to travel to any of the 5 borrows, long island and even jersey as long as i can get a monthly script ill even do bi weekly but i cant do this with my current doctor i have an appointment friday and i dont feel like loosing a half day of work for 30 20mg oxys thats going to be finished in 3 days its not even worth it anymore i tryed talking to my doctor but dont listen to s*** that i say and it gets me really annoyed so please if anybody can help me with a new doc you dont know how much that would help thank you very very much any answers are greatly appreciated..thanks

I am currently on 7.5/325 and I always fill the generic brand which I feel is not helping me. I asked my doctor if she could go a little higher 10/325 and she told me no, that they the idea is to get me off them not go higher. I explained to her that there are days that I am in a lot more pain (herniated L1, sciatic nerve and dislocation of right knee twice) and I have to take more than just 2 pills a day. There are days that I don't take any at all. I am scared of the acetaminophen so I try not to over do it. I figured maybe going up in mg's will help me from taking more than I need too a day. At one point she asked me if I had a problem... I found that very offensive, being that these doctors prescribe you the meds, talk about addiction but still prescribe the meds and then ask you if you have a problem. There have been weeks where I have ran out of meds and I am totally fine (no major withdrawal symptoms) I used to take Tramadol because they claim its not as addictive as percocets--boy are the side affects of that narcotic MUCH WORSE than the percocet, I stopped taking it immediately. Also is it ok to ask your pain management doctor to prescribe name brand vs. generic?

I don't understand when you say the link is no longer available, how do I search for a doctor then? ? I'm not understanding what your saying, so sorry! If you could please give me more information I would appreciate that so much. I'm in Philadelphia, not Nj or NY. If That's ok, I mean can I still get help for my problems? ? I have a bone and joint disease throughout my whole body,i'm breaking bones and don't even know how, I was also in a car accident over 11yrs ago in which have me 4 herniated disc, bulging disc, a few punches nerves in lumbar spine, also pinched nerv in neck, herniated disc in neck now too. The list goes on and on. Ibroke both my shoulders just from the way I sleep, I broke the one than had to switch sides and broke the other, it's crazy, ya think I'd be on massive amounts of pain meds but I'm only on the fentynal patch 100 change it every 3 days, and 30-5mg of endocet, and they want to lower my fentynal bcuz I need hip and knee replacement and they say my dose is too high, that no pain meds will work if I had the surgeries? ? Idk but what I'm on now don't help so how can they even consider lowering my dose, I just don't get it. I have it all in writing and Mri's and xrays, etc.etc.I tried epidural and Bern blocks but I felt more pain after. I NEED A DOCTOR THAT WILL WORK WITH ME, AS I CANNOT DOANYTHING NOW, I WANT TO LIVE LIFE LIKE I USE TO, I'M 46YRS THEY SAY BONES OF A 85YR OLD WOMEN. IM LOOKING FOR A PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR OR A DOCTOR WHO CAN HELP ME. IF ANYONE OUT HERE CAN BE OF ANY HELP, I WILL BE SO GRATEFUL!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

I live in staten island so that Is a troop for me to mske... bit hoe many times would I have to see this dr in order to get the ball rolling? I have MRI'S for bulging n herniated disks straight from mt c spine to t spine right up into the neck.. every other dr gives me the run around and I can't deal with this pain everyday - im 26 yrs old and work a manual labor job without any pain relief (& I've been on 10s they do no work)... how plausible would it be for the Dr to prescribe the prescription I need.. I just can't do this run around anymore. .. please get back to me

I am looking for a doc in Brooklyn or Staten Island. How did the doctor work out for you? My doctor threw me off after 6 years of never giving a dirty u/a because I couldn't pee enough to get a temp. I had to get to work. I have had 3 weight loss surgeries so I can't just keep drinking water. I am looking for another doctor. Does he give you drug panels? I was getting 120 30 mg Roxie's.

I think at the end of March/beginning of April Dr. Jordan Fersel got raided by the DEA. I'm not sure what they determined but I do not think any of his offices in New Jersey are opened anymore. Anybody have more info? Thx.

Dr Albana in Holmdel made his millions and no longer writes. He hooked my wife on xanax And oxy's then took her off xanax and last fall he stop writing oxy. He is a D;:$ and wAs a cash drug dealer. Hope they get him on tax evasion. Toom her $300 cash one month and knocked her from 30's to 7.5
