Doctor Willing To Prescribe Oxy On Long Island.

Can anyone help me out? I am trying to find a doctor on Long Island that is loose with the scripts. I have awesome insurance and/or will pay cash.

Hello, Brian! How are you?

The days of doctors being loose with prescriptions are over. The DEA set forth new regulations last year that further tighten things up, how much a doctor prescribes, why they prescribed it and how long they prescribe such a medication are all under scrutiny, now.

If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll now also have to see a pain management specialist, a general practitioner won't be able to prescribe it for you. Thus, you'll need to see a pain management specialist.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
