How long does Losartan effectively stay in the body after being taken off the drug?

Not very long, at all. The FDA lists the half-life as being approximately 2 hours, so each dose only lasts about 10 to 12 hours.
Why were you taken off of it?
Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
