I take Benadyrl IM 100ml tid per migraine headaches and it works wonders. I also have fused vertabrea in my low back and have not been given anything for the the constant pain. I work in the medical feel and have worked in this field or 28 years. What can I do t get the medication I need?

Anyone requiring controlled substances on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, regardless of what it be from, will have to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place by the DEA last year. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe them.
Do either of you have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone that could help might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you each need.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
