Doctor Stopped My Xarelto Today
UpdatedI've been taking xarelto since January. I saw a new doctor and he took me off of it. Will I have any side effects from stopping it?

Hello, Michelle! How are you? Did you experience any adverse events?
It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions for starting, or stopping a medication. This one can sometimes cause some rebound blood thickening, or clotting, according to the FDA, but if the doctor felt it safe for you to stop, then you should do as they've advised.
Are you on any other medications? Did they doctor replace it with anything else?
